Fitness Connection in Garland, TX, offers a spacious gym environment with a variety of equipment. The gym caters to beginners with specialized areas and programs. The women's section is well-maintained. However, the gym faces issues with broken equipment and a shortage of plates. The locker room is particularly nice and well-reviewed. Staff attitudes and customer service have significant room for improvement.

Never make this your homeLocation. They suck . They girl’s attitude is always nasty. When you make a complaint they don’t take it serious . 0 stars if I could I hate this location or in all the whole gym. If I could make a complaint everyday I would and ppl just sit at machines and not work out and the workers don’t do anything what’s the point of paying for membership if I can never work out

Do not come here after 4. The staff are super nice, but you will spend so much time looking for plates and dumbbells. Even though they say to clean your equipment and rerack your weights I didn’t see one person in the men’s section do it🤮. The women’s section is small but nice. 😌 …

Nothing but kids at this location that don’t re rack their weights or they hog all the plates. And men/ boys here are the rudest for some reason they don’t like to share the 10 lb plates lol very weird here and on top of that their not enough plates or they hide them somewhere THIS GYM NEEDS TLC and a better cleaning crew!

Signed up on 6-1 had a good 1st day and next day on 6-2, they didn’t open at noted time 7am. This really affects people who are self conscious and go early to avoid crowds. Update: finally opened at 8:30am

This place has sadly declined over the years. I have been a member since the beginning and now they have upgraded membership packages for the kids daycare and certain areas of the gym but have the same broken equipment inside. If you are going to raise the prices atleast fix all the broken machines my goodness. I only stay because the sauna.

I'm gonna have to agree with the majority of bad reviews here. I will most likely upgrade when I get back into the routine. For now this gym serves an adequate purpose for either non-serious/very beginners/or guys like me that are broke at the moment. Not bad, but definitely nothing special.LOTS OF BROKEN EQUIPMENT. NOT ENOUGH PLATES. If the owner or whatever, invested in the equipment a little more this place would go from, "I would eventually like to upgrade" to "This place is pretty good."I'm especially disappointed about the lack of plates. One guy was benching 315 (6 plates) and that was all the plates for the bench area. I had to grab plates from the leg press machine which only had two plates. The worst part was they had NO extra smaller 2.5/5/10/25 lbs plates stocked ANYWHERE. If you can afford the building you can afford more plates. The locker room is nice tho. One of the better locker rooms I've seen.

Drove to the place after I got a five day pass issued online. When I got there I was told that it was the last day of the month and they would not activate my pass, but told me I could become a member. The whole idea of the 5 day pass was to check them out because there are already some disturbing comments about the place.... hmm!... maybe all true!

Just get the gym membership, don't sign up for personal training services ever. They don't provide you with the proper details and documents to reference about your contract and seems like they make up the terms as they go. Everyone is always telling you something different or they flat out can't give you an answer. I liked the trainer she helped me put together workouts that I could do without her now that I'm working out alone. I agree with other reviews about the equipment needing upgrade, went to other locations that had better modern equipment. I think it's under new management now so hopefully things start to get better in regard to customer service and training the reps.

I went here for the first time, I didn’t expect it to be that big. The equipments are well and they even got steps for the beginners as well so it really helped me out. Also I saw a lot of Asians there, including myself of course.
