This facility and coaches are top notch! My son made notable progress in his strength and conditioning while working with Justis and he loved every minute of it. My son is much better prepared for his sports program this fall because of his training at D1. He felt like part of the family from his very first workout there, the atmosphere is great. I would highly recommend this training and most definitely Justis! Thanks for pushing my son to the next level!

The D1 prep program has been excellent for our son! He has grown in strength and speed, learned how to work hard, and be disciplined toward achieving goals. My surgeon referred me to D1 after ACL surgery. PT had brought me a long way, but not to where I needed to be for intense sport/active lifestyle. The D1 Bridge program gave me the workouts and knowledge that I needed to get back in the game. Derek is great and the atmosphere in the gym is inspiring. I'm a physical therapist and have sent some of my clients to D1 for their Bridge Program after they've finished PT. My clients have had great experiences working with the team over there, working on building strength, athleticism, and confidence to perform above and beyond their pre-injury levels. I'd recommend the Bridge Program any athlete looking to get back into playing shape after recovering from injury.

I recently began my membership at D1 and I absolutely love it - The strength/bootcamp group classes are much more effective than going to a gym on my own, using machines, etc. All of the staff has been very attentive, friendly, and encouraging. Coach Jordyn has been amazing & I'm looking forward to taking class from the rest. I highly recommend checking out this facility!!

I’ve loved my time thus far at D1. Not only are the workouts challenging, but the coaches are great. They each bring a different perspective to the table that keeps things fresh. The facility is always sparkling clean, and you couldn’t ask for a more attentive and friendly staff. Encouragement, respect, discipline... you can tell they truly believe in this mission. I cannot day enough nice things about this place, and while it may be intimidating trust that you’ll feel welcomed and supported.

Both of my sons have been diligently participating in D1 Training in Grand Rapids this summer (3 to 4 days a week). Both of them have made tremendous progress, particularly my youngest son. After his second football practice, several parents came up to my husband asking what he had done to make such amazing improvements. Hard work and D1 Training! This program is for all levels of athletes. Will loves going, never complains and learns the importance of consistency in athletic training. What a confidence builder! Thank you D1!
