My granddaughter has been going to this gym since it opened and has learned so much in such a short time. She has already competed three seasons with CGC and I am impressed with how many times she has placed, especially on bars. Coach Angie is great with the kids, connects with them, and has a way of helping them understand what she is trying to teach them. Safety seems to be very important to Coach Angie. I highly recommend that if you’re looking to put your child in gymnastics or tumbling, bring them to Calumet Gymnastics Club.

It semed like coach Abby didn't know how to work with small children. She put my child on the bar (who has never done it before) and stepped back, leaving them to struggle. The bar was under their ribcage and all their weight was on it causing them to not be able to breathe. They didnt know how to use their hands to take the weight of their body off the bar. The whole place had major dangers to step on, trip over, and get hurt, mostly for little ones. Some of those things were padded with a protective foam, but many were not. The whole place smelled really dirty like stinky feet. It seemed like nothing had ever been cleaned. Nobody greeted us when we walked in, and we stood around until someone nonchalantly walked over and I had to make the first greeting. They seemed like they didn't care to be there. They seemed like highschoolers with a bit of an ego and attitude mostly coach Abby. The attitude did seem to fade by the end of the class. Not sure if I'll go back or not.

My daughter has been to other gym's but she has really flourished at Calumet gymnastics. She has been enrolled here for two years and loves being part of the team. The coaches take great pride in teaching in all classes.

We had just moved to the area and tried this place on a whim, my daughter was 3 at the time and was just looking for a fun activity for her to do. Within a few months we were so happy to hear our daughter was being advanced to a higher level class and a few months after that to Level 2 competition team. My daughter is now almost 6 and we just completed our first competition season and I am very happy with how my daughter has progressed. She enjoys going to the gym and loves her coaches. She is learning the basics of gymnastics along with advancing skills, while also learning sportsmanship and how to be competitive while still being a good sport all while still having fun. When concerns or questions arise they are addressed by the owner quickly. If you’re looking for a small gym where your child isn’t just another face, CGC is the place to be.

As a parent who has seen 3 gyms… this one is by far where I am most comfortable taking my daughter!! The coaches truly care about the kids. I have taken my daughter here since January 2020 and have no complaints. Any concerns I have are easily brought to the staffs attention and addressed appropriately! My daughter has continued to learn and grow her skills in competitive gymnastics and that is thanks to great coaching. & the monthly tuition is reasonably priced… it doesn’t get much better!
