Best LA Fitness location. I had to move away and have yet to find one near me now that has the qualities of my old faithful. The layout of this gym is great it never felt cramped or awkward. The machines are in great condition. There’s a lot of options for quads/hamstrings which I love. The staff is nice! Everyone cleans and puts their weights back.. just utter utopia. Thanks LA Fitness Imbrie for giving me such a good experience as long as you did.

This gym has almost all equipments. All equipments are easily accessible.Would recommend going to this gym during off hours.

I like the location and the class instructors are good, especially Tess in Cycle.Theft has been happening at this location a lot lately, people breaking into lockers and stealing things from food to valuables. While LA fitness has signs posted about NOT leaving valuables in your locker, what do you do when you shower? They have not implemented any measures- like security cameras at the entrance to locker rooms....to help reduce this. I have seen cops on site multiple times in the last couple of months.

I have been a member of LA Fitness for over 10 years now and have worked out at different clubs across the country. I would echo that most classes, equipment and facilities are fine and given the number of locations, convenient for a lot of people.The following review applies to the Hillsboro/Tanasbourne location only (across from Fred Meyer Gas).Last Friday, evening while I took a quick shower after my workout, someone broke into my locket and stole my backpack that had my car keys, wallet, phone and iPod. They broke my lock and I learned later that 4 other lockers in Women's locker room were also broken into in a similar fashion. Yes, LAF has tiny signs saying "Crime Watch" but as far as the staff is concerned, no one is watching. I have seen the front desk vacant multiple times; there are no cameras inside or outside the premises, and many times the staff are not even around to check emergency exit alarms going off. Kudos to the front desk staff who ran out with me as I tried to block the thieves stealing my car and all my belongings.As it stands, my life has been upended because LA Fitness does not care to prioritize the security and safety of their members. It is an awful feeling and I will not be going back to that club. No one can enjoy working out or sitting in the sauna when they are worried that their car or locker can be broken into and the perpetrators can get away without the fear of being caught. This club is also in a busy area and very near a highway, increasing its vulnerability. I am deeply disheartened, upset and hurt at how little the club cared for my wellbeing and I truly hope they can fix this for the future.

*Update: 5 starsIn fairness to the upper mgmt taking care of things, they not only replaced all wiping products/ tools back in the entire place but also added Sanitation wipe Stands in busy corners to wipe down post machine uses. Entire place is once again logical and a great place with the great people that makes it.******************A great facility with amazing peeps. At a top tier objective view, NO PAPER TOWELS ALL THROUGHOUT THE FACILITY raises not just health sanitation/hygiene concerns but critically, OHSA violations. A spill, a slip, fall due to no way to wipe it, does not excuse a long drawn absence of a safety tool in an establishment that is open for health, fitness and safety. Membership fees and special personal training covers one towel per client that goes there. Concerning.

This is my fav gym. The only reason I rated it four stars is bc of the smell of the locker room. Air fresheners are a must in there.The carpet needed a deep clean once a week & the surfaces need disinfecting.

I like the gym, definitely better than PF where I was going before except there is a consistent lack of cleaning materials. It’s gotten to the point where there are no paper towels to clean equipment more often than not. When brought up to staff they say there’s nothing they can do about it since the janitor got fired.

Pretty good selection of modern cardio and weight equipment which is fairly well maintained. But don't look too close cause some things are kinda dirty. Kettlebells would be a nice addition. Locker room is updated (compared to other LA locations) but showers could use a deep cleaning or refresh. Sometimes TP, paper towels, and soap run out. Seems like the cleaning staff is not there sometimes. Other times they are, but mopping the gym floor when it's busy.....Why?! The pool, spa and sauna are nice sized. Wish they were open later than 8pm on weekends.

Not sure why this LA fitness gets bad reviews. The staff are friendly, keep the equipment clean, and make sure your getting the most out of your services. They could improve upon the gym layout and it would be nice to actually have lifting platforms to use. Overall though it's a great gym.

The only reason I ever get in the pool is I'm required to for my job. We contract to use the LA Fitness pool at this location. Over my six months the pool has made staff sick, it has algae blooms that continually pop up. They post the pool temperature of 86 degrees but the reality is the pool is 82.9 degrees. LA Fitness is notorious for not storing chemicals properly, having acid and chlorine in the same room next to each other with no spill containers. Again the only reason I ever get in is because I'm required to for work at this point it's an unsafe work condition that LA Fitness is aware of. I am a certified pool operator and I have never seen a pool that has such an algae problem and they ignore that it actually exists.
