ATP offers group classes and personal training. After being a member for several years I could not possibly love a gym more. The environment is inclusive and well thought out. There is a recovery room with a steam sauna and cold plunge. The owners Stephanie and Juan are professionals and always learning and teaching their clients. Their fitness competency and philosophy is A+!

ATP is one of the best private facilities I've attended, it's clean and affordable. Being morbidly obese one could feel out of place at certain gyms but this facility made me feel accepted and strong even in my worst stage of health its somewhat of a community.

I’ve been training at ATP for several years and can honestly say it’s life changing. I was in a car accident that resulted in a fully torn ACL and recovered from it because of the support and coaching at ATP (thank you, Steph). It was a long journey and I wouldn’t have truly thrived anywhere else. I’m stronger and able to move better than before. Coaches Steph, Juan and T are passionate and knowledgeable about mobility, strength, recovery and overall wellness. The gym offers private and small group sessions. There are also recovery options such as an infrared sauna, hot/ cold plunge and direct contact with a nutritionist. It’s also clean. Kettlebells, weights and other equipment are sanitized after each use. Floors are mopped

My experience with ATP has been life changing. 20 years ago, I developed bad herniated/compressed discs in my lower back (L4/L5/S13) and since then, I had just gotten used to severe back pain in everything I would do. From regular flare ups every few months which put me out of commission for a week at a time, to regularly not being able to stand (or sit) for more than a few minutes, or hold my baby for more than 30 seconds without being in agony, the pain just became something I assumed would always be there. Not only would the pain stop me from doing things, but the potential of something causing me pain would even stop me from doing it in the first place, which led to missing out on so many things. I tried everything from therapy to injections to pain medicine, trainers and various gym memberships, but everything was just a band aid, covering up the pain at that moment, but never providing any long term relief (or education on why the pain was not going away). Two years ago, a friend introduced me to Stephanie and Juan at ATP and I figured that I had nothing to lose. I was not in the midst of a flare up, but the chronic pain was getting to a point where I was contemplating a surgery that multiple doctors had told me had a 50/50 chance at long term success. So, I set up a call with Stephanie, who spent an hour on the phone with me, getting to know me, my history, my ideal future, etc. before getting into the details of their approach, which at the time, I really didn’t understand. She was discussing Gait patterns and fundamental body movements, the important of sleep and nutrition, and asked that I come by to meet with her and her husband Juan. After spending 30 minutes sitting with them and understanding what ATP was all about, I signed up and made what I consider to be one of the best decisions of my life. Over the past 2 years, with Juan’s guidance, expertise (and friendship), we have retaught my body how to move, while constantly educating me while we train, utilizing weights, kettle bells, resistance bands, and other machines. I’m stronger and in better physical shape than I’ve ever been and am constantly surprising myself with the things I do that I wouldn’t imagine doing before (like going from carrying a 10 pound infant with severe pain, to lifting 200 pounds with a smile). Without getting into any technical details, this knowledge has allowed me to not just succeed in the gym, but way more importantly, it’s helped me start a whole new pain-free life outside of the gym. Juan, Stephanie and ATP really did change my life.

I began training with Juan and Steph in July of 2011. Over the past ten years, they have become my close friends and more like family than coaches. During that time, I have watched them evolve their fitness philosophy and change their approach to training. What has never changed, however, is their commitment to me and to my development as both an athlete and a human. They truly care about my results and my success. Be aware, this isn't LA Fitness - in fact, I hope it's the opposite. You'll get in shape but it's about movement, not posing. If you want coaches who are dedicated to your improvement, who work to evolve so that you can evolve, and if you want to train and move like an athlete in a friendly and supportive environment, then ATP Performance is the place for you.
