The Academy of Martial Arts

AOMA is the best martial arts schools we have ever taken our son. They do not only teach MMA but also teach the kids discipline. They also have special events for the kids that helps build friendships and gives mom and dad some time to dine. I would recommend The Academy of Martial Arts to anyone.

We have two kids age 8 and 6. Both started at AOMA when they were 3. and still go there twice a week. Cynthia and Chis are amazing with kids. Aside from martial arts, they learn discipline and respect. They do summer camp that my kids went to for the past 3 years, as well as winter and spring camps. Every month is Parents Night Out (no charge) where kids do something fun from 7-9 while parents catch a break. I recommended them without any reservations. In the years my kids went there they immensely benefited from the experience.

We have been part of the Academy of Martial Arts family for over 6 years. Sensie Cynthia and Sensei Chris are not only great martial artist, they are fantastic people that care for the kids like they are one of their own. We have been to other schools prior to AOMA and there is no comparison. I highly recommend this martial arts school for children and adults of all ages.

My son has been attending classes at AOMA for about a year now and he loves it. The owners, Sensei Cynthia and Sensei Chris are amazing at what they do. They’re very easy to talk to and work with you and your child individually addressing any issues you may have going on at home or school. They’re so good with the kids and the classes are fun and fast paced which helps them stay focused. I especially love the circle time discussions that Sensei Cynthia has with them at the end of each class - always on important, relatable topics for each age group. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. It was highly recommended to me and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is a great place for the family, not only for the children. My two kids love to go there. Sensei Cynthia is amazing to teach and treat every student with respect and is always with a big smile. My wife and I attend to their kickboxing class and we are happy with the results. Diego C.

This is one of the best experiences my kids have had! My son started when he was only 3 years old! SenSei has the patience and knowledge to handle kids of all ages and help them perform to the best of their abilities! The only regret I have is that we moved and I am not able to send my kids there anymore. Sensei Cynthia and Chris are the nicest and most honest people you will ever meet. The kids love them and respect them. They inspire the children to be the best they can be!

My kids have been attending for close to a year and I can’t say enough about them! They teach character skills as well as martial arts and the instructors are excellent. There are studios out there that aren’t developmentally appropriate for kids but this one is great. They are very family and community oriented and host parent nights out and fun family activities.

I absolutely love The Academy! My foster son has been taking classes for a year now, and loves them, Sensei Cynthia, and Sensei Chris. I have seen such an improvement with his focus, his ability to follow directions, and his respect for others. We say the Student Creed to each other every night before going to bed. I was so impressed by The Academy and its philosophies that I started taking classes there myself last summer. Without hesitation I would recommend The Academy to any child or adult.

My two children have been going to The Academy of Martial Arts for many years. The Sensei’s are so amazing with children. Their program is such a wonderful balance of Character education as well as Martial Arts. They help along with your good parenting to instill good character morals into your child. My son and daughter have improved their physical ability tremendously. This is the best place for any child that is ready to build their confidence, improve physical ability and grow as an all around great person. I am happy to be part of The Academy of Martial Arts Family. ❤️

LOVE the school so much. My son, age 5, has been going for 2-3 months now and he absolutely loves it. We visited a few other karate schools prior and you could just feel the difference as soon as you walked in and talked to the instructors. My son looks forward to his classes and they do a lot of fun events for the kids as well. Highly recommend!!!!!!
