They have a christmas show here. I worked the spice above tent. Sold dips to eat on ball games or whenever. The whole place has everybody's style (rustic, modern, old fashion) They even have pictures with santa and a band.

Plenty of room , restrooms conveniently located.. my only complaint would be when it's crowded it is VERY hot

Pickle ball tournament was well done. The center is clean and well air-conditioned. Plenty of parking is an understatement

I'm very concerned about the security of this environment. My mother is a senior citizen and she had her belongings(jogging suit jacket, ipod case, and baseball cap) stolen on Friday 4/8/22 while she was walking. Thankfully, she decided not to leave her car keys in her jacket like usual otherwise her car could have been stolen as well. Upon leaving she found her cap on the ground in the parking lot which indicates it was intentional. She has filed a police report. Hopefully, the hoover detective will pursue all avenues. If you are elderly and going for exercise make sure you secure all belongings and take protection because this is a dangerous environment.

Tremendous multi-purpose facility for the City of Hoover. Watched the rapid transformation from 6 basketball courts to 10 volleyball courts as my grandson was finishing his basketball game last night....as several folks used the elevated walking track. This is also used as a Fan Zone during the SEC Baseball Tournament as well as for various Trade Shows. The man for whom it is named was a major positive influence for me as I attended Berry High School in the 60's.
