I began my CrossFit journey in August of 2017 and can say this was one of the best decisions I have made for my health and well-being. I have always been extremely active. I have spent most of my life weightlifting and doing aerobic exercise. Unfortunately, it became very monotonous; I felt as though I wasn't accomplishing any fitness goals. Initially, I had a negative perspective on the CrossFit 'method' however, once I began at CFMAH, my perspective changed immediately. I love the intensity of the workouts and how I can modify to my needs. The coaches are phenomenal and truly are there to assist in my fitness growth. I'm in better shape as a 49 year old than I was in my 20's and 30's. I had a fear of injury after having one shoulder surgery and three knee surgeries. As I built my confidence in the workouts I noticed that my shoulders and knees didn't bother me anymore! Try it out and see for yourself!

As a CrossFit gym owner myself, this is the only gym I drop into when I’m in town. The coaching staff is great and the community is welcoming and supportive. It truly reminds me of my gym and is my home away from home. If you are new and trying CrossFit for the first time this is the best place to be where the coaches focus on technique and quality of movement. - Talon Smith CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, USAW National Coach, Owner CrossFit L 3

I have been a member at CFMaH for almost 3 years now. I wasn't getting what I needed from a traditional gym. The coaches are amazing. They know the athletes and how to get the most out of them. The members are so supportive and encouraging. Finally the owners continue to invest in the gym to make it the best it can be for its members. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

I got lost while training for a half marathon and wondered in. I was greeting by a coach and some athletes right away. The coaches and athletes have been some of my biggest cheer leaders in and out of the gym. I have gained so much more self confidence outside of the gym, physically strength and mental strength. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking about CrossFit. Coaches are very knowledgeable and will help you modify any workouts.

I found this gym because of an 8 week boot camp they were offering. I wasn't planning to join CrossFit but the coaches, the atmosphere, and the people changed my mind. Joining this gym literally changed my life. I became stronger physically and mentally. The coaches are top notch. They really know their stuff and they care about us as people and athletes. I highly recommend this gym.

After 3.5 years I still find myself motivated every day to go in and give it my best. The coaches are so helpful and knowledgeable, and the members are the most supportive people ever! I’m happy I made the decision to join. This has become my second family and home away from home!!

CFMAH is such an amazing crossfit box! I have been a member for the past 2 years and can't imagine not being part of this wonderful community of athletes. The coaches are incredible and truly care about your progress both physically and mentally. All levels of athlete are treated equally with endless ways to modify workouts to meet anyone's individual needs. There truly is a family atmosphere and everyone is so supportive of crossfit moms and even their kiddos! Come give it a try and see what crossfit can do for you!

I've been a member about a week and have nothing but praise for this Box. I joined two weeks after having my left rotator cuff and labrum repaired and explained my need to scale for the time being to Jackie and Ponce- I think it is fair to say "Not all Boxes are made the same." Other "coaches" elsewhere have told me "just ignore pain/injury and mind over matter" but Ponce shows true integrity in his coaching. He is appropriately attentive, compassionate and provides support second to none. The Box itself is clean with a welcome environment. They have structured class sizes which is conducive to a safe and productive WOD.If you're on the fence of trying out a Box my humble suggestion is cast your doubts aside and "suffer in fun" with Jackie and Ponce at CrossFit Mettle and Honor.
