Nice local gym wish it was bigger but they maximize their space. Update: they have updated their size by adding room. Great gym.Years later... Gym still awesome and keeps getting better...

Very clean gym! Fun atmosphere! They have a daycare, I'm pretty sure my son gave the lady a run for her money since he escaped and she had to chase him, I was so embarrassed about it but Josh(Owner) just kept saying it was okay things happen. What I love about this gym, I don't feel like I'm being judged.

I've been a member at Fitness Premier Minooka for over a year, and my review has been thought about for some time. I am very pleased with the progression of the gym, where it is now, and where it is going. I am writing a detailed review to say thanks for everything that's going great at the gym, and give my honest evaluation.In December 2020, FP Minooka was a very strong four-star gym; sufficient equipment and a great staff. Four stars is excellent--an easy recommendation anyday. Coming out of a very difficult period for all fitness center businesses, FP Minooka launched itself forward with a renovation that pushed the location into a five-star gym. An excellent location is now truly an outstanding location.I think FP Minooka is the area's best gym for most, and I have had memberships all around the area for years. Those that may have attended the previous owner's respectable Peak Fitness would be thrilled with the cosmetic and functional updates the facility has received being operated by Fitness Premier.FP Minooka's staff is great all-around. I see Josh and Larry most often and can say great things about them all day, but any staff you'd meet at FP Minooka would offer a great interaction. The classes led by staff are always very popular, and I see the training staff doing a great job with the clients that use their services.FP Minooka will best serve people looking to do traditional barbell/dumbbell and machine exercises, treadmill and cardio machine movements, also offering a selection of calisthenics and circuit-training equipment. The recent expansion has provided plenty of equipment for anyone looking to use a power rack or cable machine or dumbbell space; and it has been arranged in an optimized way so that the gym's flow is balanced--a great layout. I love the new breakout studio rooms and that they offer space for free movement, additional cable machines, and a couple power racks.The people that may need to consider a more specialized gym are dedicated powerlifters, weightlifters (Olympic lifting,) and Crossfit athletes looking for bumper plates and space to run around. Serious powerlifters may need to wait to use the dedicated deadlift platform, but specialized squat bars and bench equipment (like chains) are easily available.The location's full ammenities list can be seen on its website. The gym has been operated very well, and it's looking like it will continue to find ways to be excellent and serve its members. I'm happy to give a five-star review.
