Genesis Health Clubs - Liberty

Genesis in liberty doesn’t compare to any other gym I have been to! Love the atmosphere and the people. I have always had a great experience and feel welcomed by the staff every time I come to workout! I would recommend Genesis to anyone!!

Just moving back to Missouri from Colorado, I was searching for my next Gym to call home. I felt welcomed the first time I walked through the door, so much, I became part of the staff! That says a lot because I only choose to work with genuine people and team players. There’s no “I” in a team.

do NOT give them your phone number/email. They will call you and text you every single day until they get you to sign up for their gym. Extremely annoying when you are getting a call and text almost every day. I specifically told the person on the phone that I would call back if I was interested, and to not reach out to me anymore. I eventually had to block them from calling me again because they did not listen (I still kept getting calls).

Signed up a week ago and loving every day of it. The kids club is amazing and all of my kids love coming! Ali was phenomenal and got me all set up and taken care of with my plan and Hannah walked me through everything on the floor and got me situated to begin my fitness journey. Last mention will be all the front desk ladies, friendly and always helping everyone out! Looking forward to my journey with Genesis!

The environment is not intimidating if you’re out of shape and just getting started. There are people of all fitness levels working towards their goals. I’ve been utilizing a person trainer, Ramon specifically, to accomplish my goals and it has been a very positive and productive experience! I’ve lost 40 pounds since joining 6 months ago. If you’re nervous about starting I highly recommend giving Genesis a try!

Super impressed with the facility and especially the staff. I am in town visiting for only a cpl of days and needed a place to workout. The staff couldn’t be any more accommodating and the gym is top notch. Thank you!

This club is a great hit for you tour rats that hit the gyms on tour to workout and shower. Great equipment. Super clean facility. clean locker room/showers (with a sauna) I'm marking this location (Liberty/Kansas City) for future tours. $20 day pass.

My husband and I signed up after moving here because it's close to our home but this gym has some serious issues and we won't be renewing after the year is up. The only reason I have given 2 stars is because the staff is nice and their personal trainers are great but everything else is slacking.First of all, the teenagers are a very big problem. They have this habit of playing on their phones or hanging out with their friends and not even using the equipment that they are on. I have had to wake up at 5AM just to workout before work because this has become such a problem. Unfortunately, this has not helped because I've noticed an increase in teenagers recently and it's packed even at 5AM. Personally, I don't think teens should be on the equipment because it's a huge liability for the gym but I digress.Secondly, the people that attend this gym are absolutely disgusting. Shockingly, I'm not just talking about the teens. I have seen, on multiple occasions, gym members whom just use the equipment and DO NOT WIPE IT DOWN! I don't care if you sweat alot or not at all I do not want to touch any bodily fluid that you have left on the machine. It's common courtesy. Wipe it down.My last and final thoughts are you can get a better price through planet fitness and they have more machines, more amenities, far less teens and people who do wipe down the equipment the majority of the time. Don't waste your money here. Seriously, don't.

Look I get it. It’s that time of year. Your New Year’s resolution is to be your best self and shed those pounds… and Genesis is a great place to do it. Ignore all those other people who will be “just too busy this week” and get into this gym. The staff is great, the equipment is top-notch, and you’ll get pumped up with fellow other Resolutionists - but you’ll be the one that sticks with it week after week, month after month. I believe in you and so does Houston and all the staff at Genesis! 👍🏻💪🏻
