Yonsei Martial Arts Academy

I LOVE yonsei! This has been the best hobby I've done ever! Yonsei has helped me with my mental, physical, and spiritual growth. They have got me to be able tk exercise more, be healthier, get skinnier, learn respect, self-control, etc. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to go to Yonsei nearly everyday and to have a hobby that keeps me active that I like. I've been here for 3 years and im testing for my black belt next week. This has been the best couple of years since I found out about Yonsei and I am so grateful. Amazing staff, fun exercises, etc. Highly recommend this school to anyone! And thank you so much to the amazing staff and instructors that have helped me throughout my journey to black belt.

My daughter started at Yonsei Martial Arts Academy a month ago and it is by far the best thing we’ve ever done for her! We’ve already seen so much progress and improvement not only in martial arts class but also at school! The instructors work so well with her, they are so patient but also do not allow the kids to be distracted! 100% recommend!

My son has been at the school for about two years now. I'd brought him to class so often I started learning the moves through osmosis, and made friends with some of the other parents there, several of which were also enrolled in the adult class. After some encouragement from them, I decided to sign up as well and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. It's helped me lose some weight and get in better shape, and it's given me something fun to do with my son too.The instructors have a variety of teaching methods and make attending the classes fun and interesting, and there's certainly something different to get out of going to class with the different instructors.

My son started at Yonsei about 2 years ago as a very energetic 5 year old. Yonsei has taught him self control, focus, respect and discipline. The staff is excellent with children! The students have fun in class while learning technique.Yonsei has been very accommodating with my son's after school schedule, arranging for private classes so that he can continue to work towards his black belt.Despite the many challenges of COVID 19, Yonsei has continued to offer training for students through Zoom classes.Thank you Yonsei for your dedication to your future black belts!

Best experience! My son has gone from reds to purple's in regular school! This school has been the best help with my son's focus and attitude! Highly recommended!

My kids have been attending Yonsei for over two years, and they love attending and learning new techniques. The instructors are all supportive of the kids. I recommend Yonsei.

My daughter absolutely loves this place! She says Yes Ma'am and No Ma'am now because of this class. I'm thankful they have such great flexibility in classes. There is an added bonus of fun events (like Parent's night out) that turns classes into a family community that we love so much.

My 6 year old grandson wanted to do karate and I could not be happier that we found Yonsei Martial Arts. The school has strengthened all of the principles that we were teaching him. In the past 5 months we can see him growing stronger in body and mind. Cohen looks forward to every class. We are happy to be part of the Yonsei Martial Arts family.

My son was a student at Yonsei for 11 years and earned his 3rd degree black belt. I can truly say that Yonsei was an integral part of what has made him the man he is today. Excelling in college and personal growth are because of the discipline, self confidence, respect and consistency he was taught. Master Sentilles and Mrs. Richard both take a personal responsibility for each and every student and evaluate what it takes to make them successful within the confines of their program. I would highly recommend that if you are serious about your child excelling at martial arts and making it a part of their daily lives, Yonsei is the place for you.

My nearly 9-year-old son has been attending Yonsei since he was 4 years old. I can’t say enough great things about this school and the staff. They are wonderful, caring, patient people who are all about helping each child be his or her best self - in the studio and in everyday life. We love Yonsei and would never go anywhere else!!
