This place is rad. Great place to sweat it out while listening to music loud enough to drown out the days stressful thoughts. All of the instructors are top notch with enough variety in training style for there to be a little something for everyone. The new bikes are super nice with all the bells and whistles; the physical environment is hygienic and trendy if you're into that sort of thing; all of the staff are super helpful and go way way beyond what you'd expect at some franchise.Oh I'm pretty sure this place is locally owned so that's cool, too!

They will charge you for a series you canceled months ago and then never respond to emails. Make sure to triple check your bank account when using this studio!

I host trivia next door at Voodoo and was convinced to try out spin by one of my teams. It's been about a month and I'm still not amazing, but I walk out of every class feeling so motivated by the staff. I hate exercising and I'm just not very good at it, but the way the teachers break it down really helps me not hate myself. (10secs at 90rpm, 45secs on a gear 4, etc). It's pricey, but if you are like me and hate traditional exercising, give it a chance. Your butt is going to hurt the first couple of times, I promise you'll get used to it.

Used to be a great spin studio. However, the new owners have canceled most lunch hour classes and now use their customer’s paid for work out time to force their customers to listen to religious propaganda during their workouts. They also no longer respond to customer emails or complaints. Do yourself a favor and workout at the other spin studio in town.

I participated in the "Uplift" spin class yesterday with Tala and it was AMAZING! This was very out of character for me because my normal idea of exercising is a walk around my office. Tala invited me for her class (first one is free!) that meets on Sundays at 1:00 pm and I thought, why not? She assured me that I could go at my own pace and just see if I would enjoy it. Well, I more than enjoyed it! She helped me with the shoes (note, they hook into the pedals so your feet don't go flying) and then we got started! The uplifting music was great and it was remixed so I felt like I was 21 again a nightclub! The temperature in the room was really nice. I started sweating 10 minutes in, but I wasn't uncomfortable! Tala kept me (and the rest of the class) on track by telling us what was coming up next (level 5, 6 or 7) at 95 RPM or above - all the while focusing on the beat of the music. I'm not going to lie, I was sitting at 68-74 for most of the class, but my endorphins were coursing through my body, so I didn't care - I just kept going! By the last 3 pushes (level 2, 3 or 4) at 105 or above, I was DOING IT! Note: this is like going downhill on a mountain, so it was much easier, but still -- here is a 55 year old woman who doesn't exercise reaching between 105 and 115 RPM! The whole time, Tala was cheering us on and giving very clear instructions, so the time went by really quickly. It was fun! I can't believe I'm saying this more than 24 hours later, but I still feel a little buzz from the class. It must be the endorphins! This is a type of exercise that I really can do and want to do! I'll be back for more and will try out other sessions!

As a busy PhD student at UTK, TurboSpin is exactly what I need to manage stress, maintain a healthy mind and body, and feel a part of the community! I’ve been riding for almost a year now, and nothing beats the loud music, vigorous climbs, and the instructor’s motivation! Thank you TurboSpin for being a great place to exercise!

LOVE TurboSpin! It is by far my favorite workout. The instructors & staff are always friendly and more than willing to help with any questions/problems that you may have. They do a great job keeping the facility very clean. The atmosphere during the workout - lights, music, instructors - just makes you want to work harder & also makes it fun! It's my go-to spin studio in Knoxville!

As someone who primarily lifts weights/ is into bodybuilding I was never interested in these types of classes. With a beach vacation coming up I wanted a fun way to incorporate cardio to lose weight and discovered this place through classpass. I was shocked at how difficult the class was and returned today for my second class (that I barely made it though lol). Instructors are absolutely amazing and encouraging and it is an introverts dream group class as it’s very dark and no one is watching you! I will be a frequent customer moving forward 10/10.
