This is a fantastic boxing gym filled with legacy and history. I have thoroughly enjoyed attending adult classes here for the past two months. I have nothing but praise for our instructor, Marco. He has done an excellent job in laying a strong foundation for his students, providing great one-point lessons to us newcomers throughout the workout sessions. It's important to note that this gym isn't commercialized; instead, it focuses on nurturing professional boxers and runs a youth program to build a better community. One downside is the gym's early closure at 7:00 PM and the limited workout time options, which might be challenging for working professionals to fit into their schedules. Additionally, they don't offer classes for non-athlete adults regularly, and there is limited information on their website or Facebook page regarding class schedules. It might be helpful to check the City of Lansing Parks and Recreation website regularly to see if they are offering any classes.I have one more workout session left with them for the summer, but the coach informed us that there won't be any classes until September due to multiple tournaments. However, I am certain that I will be back in the fall when they resume classes.Overall, this gym has been a wonderful experience, and I look forward to continuing my training with them in the future.

After speaking with the head coach Ali, he said we could come down and check out the youth boxing program. I took my 13 year old there to watch the training program, when we arrived the head coach approached us and was incredibly rude, and short. Talking to us as if we were bothering him, we just walked out. My son was very excited to be a part of the Crown boxing program, but wants nothing to do with Crown Boxing. My son says, I hope he isn't my coach. This is very disappointing because I boxed there years ago under Moses who is great boxing coach. This was very embarrassing for me, I told my son how amazing this gym used to be, then Ali (Head Coach), treated us like dirt.

Crown Boxing Club is an excellent place to train. My fundamentals, confidence, and overall boxing skill improved greatly in the year I trained there. The coaches genuinely care about the development of everyone that walks into the gym. They go above and beyond to support the community’s youth. Five Stars

I really miss this place. Coach worked us hard and I sincerely appreciate it! This is one experience I wish I could go back and repeat—I will never forget it. I was in such great shape and I find myself craving the grit instilled in me from this experience.

This place is not just a gym, but a family. Coach Easley cares for every single one of the boxers and provides and outlet for struggling kids through the HAWK Foundation. If you go here you'll see people develop as a person while becoming a better boxer.
