It's never busy there which I like I would say they could do a better job of cleaning the locker rooms but overall good place.

I will share the screen shots of what a nightmare this place is. People swearing on the courts screaming, pool open 2 hours a week for the kids, broken machines, impossible to get a refund. The employees act like it honestly is their last dollar. I have been told multiple things on where my refund checkmis, all lies to where I had to file with the ceo. Avoid oak park ymca it is a shady dump.

The staff there are very kind and are really friendly, I love it when they take time out to say hey!My children who are now adults with children have grown up,as members and are now bringing their children Thank you so much for all the benefits you get to enjoy when your a member. We look forward to many more years! Thank so much!

The staff are friendly and the pool is very deep! Their rules state: "Ages 13+ may join as individuals, however, youth 13–17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the membership agreement and waiver." However, i've noticed a lot of unsupervised children and teenagers, especially on the basketball courts.

Could be cleaner. Especially the changing rooms. But the staff are all friendly and helpful. The lifeguards are strict but people have to understand that it's part of their job. You could literally die in or around the pool. So make sure to follow the rules and listen to the life guards.

Excellent place! I've been a member for years. Friendly people, good equipment, and building/facility's well maintained. Try the pool. Whether it's for maintain your bod or loosing weight this is the place! Just wish I didn't like Doritos so much!!

Clean place. Friendly staff. Decent size. Parking usually isn't a problem and it's usually not a crowded gym. I was hesitant to give it a try because of the area it's in however, it really is a nice ymca, the building seems a bit older but the atmosphere is pleasant.
