Was traveling through Lawton and stayed a couple months. Trained here and I really enjoyed it. If I was stationed at FT Sill this would easily be my gym of choice.

I am excited to share the fantastic experience that my two sons and I had at the Dreadnought Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy. It is not easy to put into words our high regard for this place. The moment you enter the academy, you're captivated by its inviting atmosphere. It's not just the pristine facilities that set this place apart; an undeniable sense of camaraderie and mutual respect permeates the air. The staff deserves recognition for creating an efficient and welcoming environment. They are always attentive and ready to offer assistance, genuinely caring about the well-being of my sons and every student who walks through the doors. And let's not forget about the coaches; their unwavering dedication is remarkable. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional Jiu-Jitsu training, carefully observing each trainee and nurturing their physical and mental growth. Their techniques and methods reflect a deep understanding and passion for this art form.Choosing to enroll our sons at the Dreadnought Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy has been an extraordinary decision. It has been an incredibly gratifying experience to witness the remarkable transformation in their physical health and self-assurance. We wholeheartedly endorse the academy's exceptional staff, outstanding coaching, and top-notch training facility. For those seeking an exceptional training experience, we highly recommend the Dreadnought Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy.

Great gym with very welcoming coaches. They treat everyone with respect and all the higher belts really enjoy helping the lower belts. Definitely a place to check out if you're looking at getting you, or whole entire family into a fun and practical marital arts.

Great facility. If you’ve never been to another gym before you can’t truly appreciate how nice the place is. My kids and I train back home, so it was cool to see how they lock the doors to the mats during kids class to keep all the kids secure (they have cameras in the gym so you can watch from the waiting room). As a parent and practitioner that is so dope to see. The people all just want to help each other grow in the art. Can’t say enough good things. I was only there for a 45 minute class and ended up staying an additional two hours just drilling and talking to the members.

Great for ANYONE wanting to explore and learn Jiu-Jitsu from tried and tested coaches / competitors. I really like the separation from the Teams practice and the rest of the gym / beginner's. Creates a desire to want to compete and learn constantly. "THE PROFESSOR" is a military veteran who is the true embodiment of a humble Coach and practitioner of Jiu-Jitsu. As an MMA fighter, I was really drawn to their striking program. Coach Joe Blessing (also a Special Forces Military Vet) has YEARS of experience in fighting. His Approach to Striking is one a kind. Focused on all aspects of the game, BUT contours it to the cage. So, you are learning the Grappling and Jiu-Jitsu side while applying the aspect of striking, too! Great Coaches and could not be more kid friendly either. As MMA gyms go, this was a gym that is truly a family. They would even reach out if you had not been to class in awhile, just to make sure you were doing okay and letting you know you were not just a customer, but a part of their gym family too!

My kiddo started training at Dreadnought over 2 years ago. The professor and all the coaches took him right in, love him, guide and direct him, and teach him how to be a better human. I couldn't ask for anything or anyone better. He has grown in this sport and loves to compete with the best of them! He also attends the kickboxing class that Dreadnought offers and has fallen in love all over again! If you're looking for a place for you child to learn self defense, integrity, perseverance, self control, and a place to call home, give it a chance! You won't be disappointed!

I just wanted to let you know that I am very happy. You guys have embraced my son since day one! He was scared and hesitant in the beginning (due to his anxiety) but he’s slowly opening up and did I mention his confidence?! OMGEEE!!! He’s becoming a better person, friend, and son and for that I am grateful to you, your husband and the academy! Highly recommend!

Our first choice was to place our one son in Taekwondo. We did not get a very good vibe from that place so my husband mentioned that we should try Dreadnought. We walked in one night with out the kids and we just looked around. We ran into one of the owners. She is super down to earth and sweet. We talked about bringing our son in when he returned. We signed him up on his birthday. We ended up having my husband, my two sons(4 and 3), and myself in classes. My husband and sons train in Jiu-Jitsu and I train Kickboxing/MMA/Jiu-Jitsu/women’s class. My kids love it there.I, myself did not want to participate when I first got there, but my husband insisted and I gave it a try. The classes were fun, they worked your body and brain, and coaches were very motivating. After having my daughter I did need to get back and train in something and I have to say I have lost inches and enjoyed losing those inches while at it. I would not have it any other way. They have also added Strength and Conditioning classes that take it to another level for your journey and I strongly recommend them as well.It is a wonderful training facility for all ages. I would recommend this place a 1000 times to anyone. Especially for anyone that is a military family. We have enjoyed our family gaining new members at this place and hopefully for years to come.

Dreadnought Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy is in it to win it! Sure we all like to win but when I say in it to win it I’m talking about your drive, your focus, hands on training, powerful messages and FAMILY! I can’t say enough GREAT things about the Academy, the Professor, his beautiful wife Ms Maggie and the amazing group of coaches that all focus on you and/or your child’s success. They are so focused on helping the youth in our community overcome diversity, bullying, shyness, and many other issues such as anxiety, confidence, leadership, teamwork, laughter and love. They cheer you on and help guide you both on and off the mats. Simply put I find them to be amazing and I think you and your children will feel right at home at Dreadnought.
