They closed this place without warning , left a bunch of members hanging and reopened it and now are trying to charge their members MOREUpdated comment: After reading their response I decided to call them and I spoke to an individual named Rebecca who was the most unprofessional and rudest employee, she claimed to be a manager and I’m not surprised how bad anytime fitness has gotten in Lincoln Nebraska, they lack good customer and respect for others. I recently had a very negative experience at anytime fitness Gym. I joined the gym a few months ago, and I was excited to start working out there. However, I soon realized that the gym was not what it seemed to be. Firstly, they charged me a joining fee, which was not mentioned to me during the sign-up process. It was only after I received my first bill that I realized I had been charged an additional fee.They also charged me 35 dollars fee on top of the joining fee and they call it a "maintenance fee" which they fail to inform me as well, and this is twice a year. And I've only been a member now for a couple months now.When I approached the gym staff about this, they were very dismissive and unhelpful. They told me that the joining fee was standard, and they had mentioned it in the fine print of the contract. I was very disappointed with this response, as I feel that they should have been upfront with me about all the fees before I signed up.Furthermore, I have noticed that the gym is always crowded, and there are never enough machines available. Even when I go during off-peak hours, I still have to wait for a long time to use the equipment.Additionally, the gym is not very clean, and there is often a strong odor of sweat and mildew in the air.Another issue I have had with the gym is that the staff is very disrespectful to the members. I have witnessed them speaking rudely to other members and making fun of them behind their backs. I witness an employee named Rebecca (who claimed to be the district manager from Kearney) disrespect a member and mock them. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional, and it has made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome at the gym.Overall, I would not recommend Anytime Fitness to anyone. They are not transparent about their fees, the facilities are not up to par, and the staff is disrespectful to the members. I feel that I have wasted my money by joining this gym.

The new management is horrible! Save your money and time.They need to fire this Rebecca employee.Here are things that you should know before even considering this location as your gym1. The hidden fees, I had Rebecca walk me through the fees, but she failed to mention 4 different fees that the gym charges you! And when I asked her to do something about it, she said she could apologize for failing to inform me but that’s all she could do.2. They closed this gym unexpectedly and then reopened and charge their old members MORE money to be a member! And there new members get charged even more! You are better off at genesis gym or even good life fitness!!3. They charge you to cancel the contract, it’s not a month to month gym anymore.4. The gym stinks!! So unclean! so unsanitary! This new owner doesn’t know how to manage his employees. Rebecca should have been terminated.5. They are missing so much equipment that was there before!! It looks so empty! So they charge more and offer less!Don’t sign up for this gym! You will regret it
