This is a great Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym that has high level coaches that teach a proven system. The facility is clean and has raised mats that help prevent injury. This is also a place with an amazing culture of people who are welcoming and friendly to everyone. Can’t recommend enough.

Very solid gym. Tried it for a week while I was in town for the holidays. Very good instruction, old school, & disciplined BJJ. Went to open mat as well and everyone was very cool. Good fundamentals, and I filled some gaps in my game. I’m a four stripe white belt for context. All coaches give helpful feedback. At the end of the day, no one there could handle my mentality bc when I snap I see red and it’s all over. But that’s to be expected so I can’t hold it against them. Five stars and I’ll be back again whenever I visit.Edit: my wife told me my mentality joke was unclear/ not funny and I should change it. I told her It’s an inside joke in BJJ. This is a very supportive and friendly gym. Everyone was calm, cool, and collected including me.

Great people and outstanding instruction. This is the place for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Lincoln, Nebraska. If you're reading this and wondering about whether or not to come try out the free week, do it. It's a blast.Four years later and still a great place to train. It's only gotten better.Five years in and I'm at the gym 5-6 days a week. Keep up the good work.

LBJJC is an amazing BJJ gym! My family and I are back in Lincoln from June to December this year and I was looking for a place to continue learning BJJ. There are a great variety of classes (gi, no gi, take-downs, judo, mma, etc.). The classes are offered 7 days a week at great times. I especially appreciate the daily 6:30 AM class but when I can't make that time, I have the Noon or evening BJJ class available that day to attend. All of the instructors are skilled, knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. Their love for BJJ and warmth is infectious and definitely influences the atmosphere while training. I've made some good friends on the mat even in my short time here.My 7 year old son decided he wanted to try it and attends the youth class in the afternoons. He loves it and has made some good friends in class. The quality instruction, facility, resources and atmosphere make the monthly membership a bargain! I'm grateful for the great resource this gym is to the martial arts community in Lincoln and Nebraska. I'm sad that my time here is coming to an end, but I look forward to my next opportunity to attend classes here.

We came to join the Womens Only class but were not greeted by anyone at the front so we were totally lost. As parents picked up their kids, we sat there waiting. We didn't know where the class would be held, where the teacher was, or who to ask. We saw instructors but they completely ignored us when it was clear we were lost. Apparently the Women's class was being held in the same spaces as the children's class, and the Women's class wasn't even women's only..there were men both teaching and watching. We left without having gotten any help. Will not be returning, also false advertisment for the Women's Only class.Edit: In response to the reply- When we walked in, there was no place to check in. We sat where there were seats because we saw others there. No one got our attention and we weren't on our phones the entire time. We only checked our phones to confirm the online schedule. We were sitting thinking we needed to wait for the class to begin. Who were we supposed to go to as first time customers, how do we act? If we were supposed to be approached ,no one approached or acknowledged us. After we asked a parent about the women's class, they directed us to a small group of 3-4 adults in the back, one of which was a older male in a blue gi on top of a woman. This was not as advertised on the website as the Women's only class, which had Sara Khalil as the female instructor of that class. The rest of the gym consisted of children + their male instructors. We also called the office but got voicemail.
