Great workout facility. You are probably a student reading this, sooo yeah. It's good. If not, non-student fees are 10 bucks a visit or some insanely expensive guest pass. Great pool, Racquetball/squash/badminton courts, locker rooms. Ya know.. gym stuff.

Usually really crowded 1-8pm, and there's definitely tons of "bros" in there. However, the facility is maintained very well and the whole building boasts a variety of equipment/space to accommodate any type of workout.

As student I want to be sure I am taking advantage of all the resources available to me through the University system (which I technically pay for via student fees). So I have definitely been taking advantage of our recreation center. They staff as all students, and seem friendly. They have been helpful when I have questions. The workout room features a variety of machines and stations you can use - and if you're not comfortable with using the machines don't worry, they have easy-to-follow images and instructions on them! Or just ask! There are many other areas of the rec center: swimming pool, cardio area upstairs, courts, etc. They have lockers where you can safely store your items. And of course full locker rooms with a sauna in them so you can relax after your workout and then hit the shower.

Great facility with alot of equipment and a wide variety of them. If you come in the afternoon expect it to be very busy. One downside are the weird rules that you don't see at normal gyms. They do not allow bags in the strength room and require water bottles to be put on racks located throughout the gym.

Was at UNLwith for a youth athletic conference with the "Life of an Athlete" program and got to spend time here playing badminton. Outstaning facility! Everybody working there is very friendly and helpful. Don't know what more you could expect in a rec center that they don't have!

Beautiful rec center, lots of amenities and different spaces for whatever type of exercise you would like to do. I recommend trying out a fitness class if you don't know where to start with a workout routine (1 free class per semester for members!).

Impossible to park anywhere near the place, but the multi-level, great equipped gym makes it up for you.

Great facilities for working out but the parking is a nightmare. Also, during the school year, there are, of course, many students there and this can be a headache if it's a really busy night. I imagine going during the day is a better …

Several facilities are available. I usually go to the gym, which is not enough for this large university. Best time is in the morning or late night.

Not the fanciest gym, but good enough if you are a true exerciser rather than a visitor. I love this place, which let me understand the motto: a sound mind in a sound body. I love UNL people forever.
