LA Fitness

This location is better than the one I signed up at in Livonia.... But the equipment is not clean... I checked in stretched and hopped on a stationary bike, without noticing it was a spider web on the low end of the seat and I got bit on the behind by a spider... Outside of that this location is a good location to get your workout done and get a great protein shake..

I showed up at 8:35 this morning on September 2 to make a decision to become a member at LA fitness and a lady at the counter who says she is the “Lead Janitor” took me back to go over numbers and I asked for her to take me to the bathrooms figuring this would be a good time to see the condition they were and it was horrible. There was garbage (not just a wipes. Wads of black hair on the floor so much it was the color. If that wasn’t so Gross I would’ve considered. BUT NO THANKS. Ms. Wiggle

Very nice club kept up clean front desk staff is nice Kyle signed me up and helped get me started then I worked out with Tyler and got a great workout love this club.

Good selection of equipment. Nice environment/people that go there. The staff not willing to help in anyway. Bathrooms are not so clean. Which they would spend our membership money on new equipment couple times a year atleast.

As of July 8, 2023 locks got broken into the mens locker room and peoples stuff got stolen even though it was secured. If anyone goes to this gym keep your valuables with you at all times!!!!!Edit: a person used a cuter to open these locks so whos at fault…

The gym isn't very clean. It seems they may need a bigger, more skilled cleaning crew that can get everything spotless before mornings. Equipment could use some updates as well.

Terrible place! Do not join!! I have been a member for a while and have been to multiple LA fitness locations. Every place has terrible management and most staff are less than helpful. I’ve tried to cancel my membership multiple times. First they tell me I can do it online, and I go online and it says you have to do it in person. I go in person and only 1 staff member is able to do it and they’re not in that day. I call back they say I can come back any other day to do it. I go back in today and they tell me I can only do it during the week. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. I wish I could get my money back but I can’t even cancel my membership!! Don’t waste your time. Terrible organization all around. I promise you’ll regret joining this place!!!

We had our first fitness appointment with a trainer. This place is amazing. there are so many machines , weights plus pool, hot tub, and steam room. They have spin cycle classes and many other fitness classes. We love it.

Decent variety of equipment- but filthy, and not very well taken care of. The main benefits of the gym are the pool, hot tub, and steam room....if you dont use these then stick to planet fitness. The customer service here is absolutely terrible. All you get from the front desk while checking in is an evil eye.

This is what the weight area looks like AFTER G the janitor cleans it! If people would put their weights back and pick up the paper towel that they use from wiping off the machines, it would stay this way. People also spill water and pre workout all over the floor and don't bother to clean it up. The layout to this gym is excellent. It's the people that destroy it that makes it look bad.
