My favorite Pilates studio in the LA/OC area! Paige and Sophie are so talented at leading challenging, rewarding sessions that give me strength in just a few classes. Super clean studio and nice new machines.

Poor management , overpriced. If you are looking for a personal experience this is not the place! Plenty of other amazing studios in the area. I definitely will not be coming back

I booked my first class here explaining I was a beginner and was told this would not be an issue. [edited/added] As stated in Be Fit reply below, I specifically asked if I required a beginner class and was told the classes are for all levels. I love group exercise and always have done, but this felt careless on a number of levels. Do not adjust the intensity of my machine on the suggestion of another class member without asking me first. It’s fundamentally not good class practice! Also the fact you write ‘beginners’ in quotes suggests you really don’t offer proper beginner lessons, just be honest about it..or actually mention them when somebody calls to enquire about that very thing. Very odd [end of my edit/add]Having attended nearly every type of group exercise class around (many around SoCal since moving here) I'm no stranger to being a novice and finding my own rhythm when it comes to classes, but my experience here was so poor, I felt obliged to write about it.Firstly, I was pretty shocked at how the 30 second, cursory chat about the reformer machine to myself and another newbie was in no way whatsoever helpful when it came to the class itself. The instructor gave such a fast demo with no interest in whether we had any further questions right before jumping straight in.The session started with prompts and directions that I personally found hard to follow given how central an understanding of the machine is and the intense pace - not a good combination without a proper and professional demonstration. One thing that really stood out and left me reeling was when a lady on the machine next to me for some reason found it acceptable to suggest the instructor adjust my spring for a higher intensity exercise, and to my total shock the instructor carried out this adjustment without consulting me at all - meaning I found the exercise too difficult and totally unenjoyable. It was baffling to me and I had to pause to return it to its previous position. I pretty much checked out at this point.I loved the intensity of the exercises and the burn they give, but unfortunately given my focus on handling the machine, I struggled to execute them properly. My poor form then prompted the instructor to continually adjust my position, which I detected she was getting a little fed up with.I think if you're used to reformer pilates then you'll probably like it here - I just hope you're not sat next to a lady paying too little attention to her own workout and too much on yours.Be prepared to go earlier maybe for longer to ask about how it works. Although I was the first one there 15 minutes before the session started, and it didn't work out that way for me.Anyway, what a terrible exercise experience and one I truly wish to forget. I'll be trying another reformer class in LB, but shall never return to BE Fit.Abigail
