Long Beach Kick Boxing Center

This is a great place for experienced kick boxers or beginners. It is family owned, and family run by a very experienced kickboxer within the Cambodian community. Dee, that is promoting not only the culture, but the ability to share it with others with no limitations. This is a great place not only for learning how to defend yourself, but also the culture of this particular martial arts style. Everybody here always works together and also communicates. Great place to be great bring your kids. Thank you for being such a pillar, not only in the community, but also with the youth learning how to defend them self.

You can learn a lot from this small gym. They make you feel like your are a part of a family

This place is a hidden gem! Come here they will treat you like family, everyone works together. Train here and train hard. It's worth the price and the technique, skill, and discipline.

Twenty years ago they would Corner for me in my fights in that area as I was from out of town. I will never forget their kindness and compassionate spirit to help a stranger. Wish I lived closer,, best gym in Southern California

I have to give props and respect to this place. It is a true training gym, all business. If you want a personalized experience to really hit the mats, this would be it. When I was checking it out, every student there was encouraging and welcoming. Great crowd. Rare to find a small, intimate gym like this. They do offer a trial if you ask, for a small fee. They will work you! Ultimately, it was not for me. But I'm glad I gave it a try. You should too, if you have any interest.

This is one of the most amazing places in Long Beach. It has such a great history and continues to uphold the traditions of the neighborhood and great values. The gentleman in charge here are great people and very knowledgeable about their craft. My wife and I came to this place as walk-ins and now we are family. Don't ever feel intimidated to come to this place and have a open mind to learn. They are wonderful at teaching and will help anyone on any skill level.

Grandmaster Oumry is one of the best Martial Artists among Southeast Asian Countries, the Martial Arts is known to be Pradal Serey(Translated in Khmer language means: Pradal means Fighting and Serey means Freedom); therefore it entails that fighters have a freedom to use their fighting skills without restrictions. However according to the Wikipedia of Khmer fighting history before the French Colonization, many fighters were end up dead. So the French introduced these fighters to use protection gears like gloves and other minor protection and then soon later it was made to be a Sport for entertainment. So after that Pradal Serey had some rules and restrictions to be applied.
