This is an amazing BJJ facility family-oriented. Warm welcoming to everyone and all levels of self defense. I have seen my oldest become more confident and come out of his shell thru out the years. While taking Jujitsu and Wrestling. While our youngest learns to apply his energy and spark for self defense while taking BJJ and Muay Thai. All the coaches have years of experience and always making sure everyone is using correct form, technique and take their time to answering any questions or concerns. Kids classes always end wih a fun game and everyone leaving with a smile.

Our son has been training at Neutral Grounds a once he was 4 years old, he’s turning 14 next month. From the first day we walked into the academy, we were welcomed with open arms. Professor Evaldo and the NG coaches have helped to shape our son into a confident, respectful, hard-working and kind young man. Signing him up here almost a decade ago was the best decision we could have made for our son and our family (my husband trains also and when our baby is old enough, you will find him on the mat as well!).

Perry at Neutral Ground in Grafton, WI, along with all other instructors are great teachers and people. Everyone is welcoming and knowledgeable and people are excited to work together every day.

Utopia has been so amazing for our 4 yr old. He is so excited to go every week and watching his confidence and self esteem grow through each session, is incredible! Especially because he tends to be a bit shy and more observant at first. There’s a great balance between group and still feeling like you get that one-on-one feedback from the coaches. We have been so impressed.

I took a private lesson with Professor Joel today. I am very happy with how the lesson went.First, I was able to sign up for a private lesson online, which I have never been able to do at any other BJJ or GJJ website that I've looked at. Pricing was disclosed on the website. The majority of BJJ and GJJ websites that I've looked at don't disclose their pricing rubric.The lesson cost $85 for one hour of training with a black belt in the Royce Gracie lineage. I have never found a better price than that for a private lesson from a black belt in the Royce Gracie lineage. As soon as I signed up online, I received a confirmation text message on my phone. I also received a text message reminder on my phone the day before our appointment. Parking was easy, and I had no trouble finding the place.As far as the lesson itself, Professor Joel tailored the lesson to the areas that interested me. He was open to questions and gave me valuable insights throughout the entire hour. I got a workout and some new details on self-defense techniques that were passed down to Professor Joel from Professor Lima, who received them directly from Royce Gracie himself.I would continue taking lessons with Professor Joel if I lived closer to the area. Thank you, Professor Joel!PS, the Neutral Grounds mats were clean and sanitary.

Professor Evaldo warmly opened his gym to a bunch of us visiting from NYC. The facilities are clean and well-kept, and we had a great time. We'll definitely be back next time we are in the Long Beach area!
