I couldn't decide how to rate this place because on the one hand I LOVE the classes and the trainers but on the other, I'm disappointed because the air conditioning hasn't been fixed in over a month making the conditions unbearable in the gym. Also they only have two restrooms, no showers and no lockers. The large mat where hundreds of people work out on gets gross too towards the end of day... a lot of times you can feel people's sweat on it.

I did my first 6 week challenge at The Camp in Long Beach. The challenge is to loose 20lbs in 6 weeks. At the end of my 6 week challenge, I had lost a total of 26.8lbs. WOO HOO, it has always been difficult for me to eat healthy and exercise.Until I took the challenge! I learnt how to eat healthy and exercise to my limit! The Camp in Long Beach helped me all the way. The trainers are GREAT AND VERY SUPPORTIVE! I would recommend The Camp to anyone that wants to transform their unhealthy life style to a healthy life style.I will be starting my second 6 week challenge April 18th, waiting to say "there goes another 20lbs".

Disabled Combat Veteran, walked into the camp at 244 pounds... 25% reduced lung capacity which will never change do to chemical exposure in Iraq. Also had Pre-Diabetes and blood pressure was roughly 140/90... Constantly fatigued and literally felt like I was on my last leg. The Camp Transformation Center has changed my life. I'm 5 weeks into my first 6 week challenge. I'm down to about 227 pounds, my blood pressure is normal and I'm excited to see if that blood test shows I'm no longer experiencing Pre-Diabetes. I have so much more energy, feel strong, look so much better and feel like I could conquer the world again, much like I did on my first deployment to Iraq as a young 23 year old infantryman. Thank you so much to the entire Long Beach Camp team. I've found my #AAF (Awesome Fit Family) and look forward to continuing to sweat with you all!
