If you have breathing problems or any asthma Make sure you have your inhaler A gas mask or Something along the line.I just went there today Like normal, and someone decided to use at least a whole can of Body spray Which makes the gym smell so much worse. If you have a weak stomach do not go. Be respectful to others and don't use Is arisol body spray.

Our summer was made extra special thanks to the local YMCA’s swimming classes! Our 3 and 5-year-olds had an absolute blast learning to swim, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the patient and professional instructors. Not only did they build our kids’ confidence in the water, but they also provided them with essential skills to keep safe. The facility was clean and family-friendly. It’s comforting to know we have such a wonderful resource in our community. Can’t wait for next summer’s sessions!

Older but perfect for our needs. My husband and I aren’t big babies. Just need a place with all the right stuff and not too many people at 5:30am.

I love the YMCA but I hate this one! The two brothers that work at the pool are racist and so is the older lady who is in charge of the pool. It looks like the 1960s in there and those 3 staff act like it’s the 1960s.

Really nice local YMCA with lots of amenities, classes, and reduced membership programs that are very easy to take advantage of. People will complain that the equipment is old - but just because it isn't shiny doesn't mean it's broken (: love how quaint it is. Employees are all very kind. And they're raising money to remodel within the next few years!

This is a very old gym with equipment directly from 80s. The highest price for it is 20$ a month (equipment, amount of light, air is the opposite of being fresh, grim atmosphere) not 45, mind you ACAC in Richmond charges 55, but unlike this gym you get what you pay for. Also, when they say they don't have any hidden cancelation fees and etc. don't listen to them. You have to notify them 30 days in advance (because in 2021 their advance payment system takes 30 days to cancel subscription), and you will be charged for the following month, regardless you're coming in or not. I haven't been to other Ys, word is they're nicer, but this one is (redacted)

If you work weekends, might be better off finding a gym with decent hours. For such a high price I would expect to be able to lift after work on the weekends…or even Friday…Decent Monday-Thursday gym

The YMCA is an amazing place that welcomes all. I have seen first hand the lives that have been changed there. To all the Moms and Dads out there the YMCA has child watch! Drop your children off in a safe and comfortable play area why you workout and relieve stress!! I assure you that you will not regret being part of this special place.

I worked and worked out here for a number of years. There are a wide variety of programs and exercise classes, and the free weights area is great, although sometimes it can get a little cramped at peak hours. They are continually working on expanding and updating their facilities, and I absolutely love the pools.
