On 9/27/23 I went into this orange theory location in Melbourne. I was given a high risk pregnancy diagnosis in June and was told I could no longer workout until further notice. This was the first opportunity I had to come into the store location to close out my membership and asked if I could be reimbursed for the months I was not able to workout due to my condition. I was told by the front desk associate that the only time they do that is with a pregnancy issue and that I would have to have a note stating the date of the diagnosis. She provided me the email that I could send the note and they would be able to reimburse me. I called my doctor who was happy to write me a note which I had to pick up in person. I drove 30 minutes there and back to pick up the signed note from my physician with my two toddlers and hand delivered it to the orange theory location that Friday, 9/29/23. I was told by a different front desk associate today that told me, “yea, that’s not gonna happen”. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that that was also not an option, she wouldn’t even provide me a phone number. Instead I was given a general email where l could voice my concerns but was also told, “that’s just Dr by how it’ll be”. Overall, her demeanor was cavalier and rude. To add insult to injury, I was told I would also be charged again for another month before they would be able to end my membership. I’m a mother of 2 with one on the way, so to have gone out of my way and then be treated in this manner is very upsetting. It is clear my health is not a concern and they are only interested in squeezing another months payment out of me after knowing I physically cannot attend the classes right now.

Just moved to the area for work from my Duluth Studio in GA. This location is not out of towner friendly unfortunately. I go to OT for the community and this one just didn’t welcome me. Still love OT tho so onto the next!!

Terrible customer service. Got there 12 min late for new member check in and they would NOT let us in even though we have previously used treadmills, rowers and weights. We were NOT late for the 9 am class we were late for some new member lecture and they still wouldn't let us in. The front desk girl was VERY rude and wouldn't even rebook us as she was "too" busy. She offered a refund...didn't even want our money. POORLY RUN FRANCHISE

Love this studio and workout. Coach Kristie is high energy and love her song selections. Best 50+ min workout to max out calorie burn and cardiovascular fitness. My only qualm with this studio is the rowers aren’t as advanced as in other OTF studios.

I canceled my membership today after two years with orange theory. I recently moved to the area, and this was the closest studio to me. I’ve tried it out for the past 2 months to see if I would like it as a home studio, and I will not be returning to orange theory at all. The staff is less than accommodating and not friendly. There are some great coaches- Crystal and Kristie. I don’t feel like the weight floor exercises are demonstrated the way they’ve been at all other studios I’ve been to, and it doesn’t really feel like a “coached” workout. My experience at this studio has turned me away from Orange Theory all together.

Great workout that’s very challenging. I love how they provide data on your workout to track progress over time. The staff are great and really motivating. Studio is clean and equipment is new. Everyone is very welcoming and you feel like your part of a team.

I was being charged double than what I should've been for 6 months when I noticed. I pointed the issue out to the gym, knowing full well it was a mistake on their end as I had signed contracts I was supposed to at the time I upgraded for a two-month period. All they would do is refund me the difference for the last month even though I and they have a contract that says I should've only been charged the larger amount during a two month period for a challenge. I was never able to speak to the owner by phone or email. I was told he does not speak to clients, which I find very odd seeing as I am paying to go to his gym.I really enjoyed my workouts at Orange Theory and love all the trainers! I have recruited a handful of people to this OTF gym, as well as many across the east coast. I signed up for the gym two months prior to them even opening in 2016. It's a shame they treat a passionate long-standing member of their gym this way. Poor way to conduct a business. In the end, the owner terminated my contract with NO notice and still would not communicate with me. His loss because that took myself and two other annual membership clients and a package-membership client away from his gym. All of this over $300. Good luck, Hunter.

I love that the workout is fast paced and the instructor keeps me motivated. I also really love that the instructor is there for us, it makes the workout easy to follow with someone continually coaching you along and pushing you to do your best. Being able to monitor your heart rate is great, because it lets you know how hard you are working. The workouts provide you cardio and strength training all in one session, which I also think is really beneficial.

I like the coaching (guiding) on the workout. The coach is overseeing and helping to correct form, if necessary. The decision is made for me on what the days workout will be. The workout changes everyday. I have never been a person who works out or goes to the gym, so this has been very good for me. I definitely have seen myself grow in strength, balance & endurance. While there's a template workout, you still go at your own pace & level. I'm over 50 and aiming for healthier heart, body & mind with these workouts!
