The Backyard

We had my wife's birthday at the Backyard, 50 people ages 8-80. Terry and the staff were awesome. The activities made it fun for all ages.

Enjoyed our time with our family - grandkids and kids- got some quality time with axe throwing and personal help from the staff who provided the best throwing tactics to succeed - thank you so much for making our granddaughters birthday wish to throw axes come true - she , along with all of us , truly enjoyed our time - we will be back- great pizza, fries and loaded tots for snacks and pitchers of cold drinks hit the spot!!!

We had so much fun. First time going. We went with my older son who was visiting. We will be going back next week with my younger son who will be home from university for a few days. Highly recommend this place. The gentleman was super nice and constantly providing tips on throwing etc.

Went on a a whim and was blown away on how much fun this place is . It’s a Huge space with so many different activities with Food and Drinks .The Axe Throwing is only $25 an hour per Person . They take the time to walk you through the process of throwing . Proper technique, what axe is right for you .The coach’s were very friendly and knowledgeable.Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a fun afternoon or plan an event.

Great family fun! The instructor was patient and clear in teaching us how to throw. Dinner was timely and tasty. We’d go again if we lived in the area!

We had a blast! Great games and food.

Awesome place to play cornhole. Rain or shine it doesn’t matter because it’s indoors in the AC. Food and drinks are great and the staff takes care of everything.

Shout out to The Backyard for hosting a local Cornhole League. This league has grown from a league of 10 teams to an astounding 36 teams! We run both an "A" and a "B" division with 18 teams in each division. The accommodations are excellent. Great place to beat the heat! Staff is excellent! Great venue for indoor cornhole league.

The 6 of us had a fun evening throwing & cheering each other on! None of us had ever thrown before and the great & personal instructions were excellent! Give them a try soon!

Fun place. Great to be able to play social outside games in an indoor air conditioned venue. We enjoyed an hour of Bocce ball (lane rental is $25 per hour for up to 4 people). They had a Sunday pizza and pitcher of soda deal for $12, but we didn't partake this time. They also had axe throwing, darts, corn hole, shuffleboard, etc. The snack bar area is pretty large. Women's bathrooms were freshly cleaned. Employees were friendly and efficient. I would be interested to know if they had more deals with additional time at a reduced rate or a varied bundle of activities that could be purchased (armband?). The Backyard would be a great idea for a birthday or graduation party without weather or bug issues. I am sure we will return!
