Legacy Martial Arts

We have been extremely happy with Legacy! In the year and a half my son has been attending his confidence has soared and his technique has improved immensely. We feel at home at Legacy. 10 out of 10 do recommend :)

For the past two years my family has been attending Legacy and we absolutely LOVE it! My girls have experienced so much growth in their leadership skills, confidence and discipline. They can defend themselves and that gives me lots of peace of mind. I 100% recommend Legacy as your go to place for martial arts!

What an AMAZING difference a truly great Tae Kwon Do studio can have on your child and yourself! My son was going to a competitor in Boise off overland and was not receiving the experience we were looking for. We changed schools and its a night and day difference!This School teaches Character, Self Confidence, Manners, Respect, and yes of course Tae Kwon DO! The Owners are some Truly wonderful people that take genuine interest in their students journeys and it Shows!No other studio in the valley can even come close to Legacy Martial Arts!

My child attended for nearly 2 years and half the “instructors” didn’t even know her name. She loved it when she first started and really started to lose passion for it a few months ago…constant changes in expectations, lack of sparring (after spending well over $300 on the required equipment) and gigantic class sizes with zero individual attention or even encouragement. When we advised we were ready to discontinue our membership the owner refused to listen to our reasons, stating “everyone else here is happy”. They did nothing to even try and retain our business and then double hit our account without even an apology for the error. I am very sad and disappointed how this all turned out. They state they’re a “family” there but we saw none of that.

We have loved being a part of the Legacy family! We weren't sure we were a martial.arts family, but 2 years later, two of my boys have their black belts in sight! The third has gained a lot of self-confidence since beginning at Legacy. We have loved the instructors and the Neitzell's!

Best school for your kids. I have been able to watch my boys grow and advance in all aspects of life. It’s not just a school you train in it’s a school that teaches you about respect confidence loyalty and also about day to day issues we have going on in todays generation. My boys are very happy here and continue to train and come every week. Staff is amazing and just overall team is great!

I love all the instructors! Having 4 boys, they really help with all our goals and aspirations we have for these kids. Molding boys into men.

Excellent school that uses adaptive learning models while instilling discipline and confidence. All of the instructors are outstanding leaders who know how to command a class while pivoting to other techniques as the needs of the class change. I tend to scrutinize leadership and instruction technique but I'm routinely impressed by this group. No matter the class size or age range of their peers, both of my kids learn something and are never left behind if they're struggling. I have two young kids in different classes and they love it. It isn't a bunch of memorizing useless forms. The forms they do learn are practiced focusing on individual movements and technical competency. Every student is taught practical self defense which I haven't experienced at other karate schools. They also spar with and without weapons and practice individually with chucks and a bow staff which is really fun. Sparring isn't about beating on your opponent in this school. They teach how to make precision, rapid strikes that are beneficial in a point-based competition.On a personal level, I appreciate what this school has done for my girls. The confidence and discipline they developed has helped them at home and at school.

We took the boys to a few different places and hands down this is the best place for them. The coaches were well trained the staff is amazing. The class sizes managed and the boys left feeling successful and ready to come back. I appreciate all the hard work these owners have put into this program because it will make a difference for the boys. The left saying, “Yes Ma’am” and had smiles on their face. We are enrolled and excited to be part of the family!
