came in for the first time expecting to spend only an hour climbing but we had so much fun we spent the entire afternoon! We really loved the different areas and levels of difficulty. Super fun watching the pro climbers too. I can't wait to come back!

My daughter and son-in-law got engaged here. Their one year anniversary is today, so I stopped to get them a gift card. Really cool place, and the front desk staff was awesome!! Friendly , helpful, and comical. I appreciate great customer service.

Incredible quality climbing complex. Such a bummer they decided to cheap out and install infrared saunas. Not a great choice for commercial use as they do not get hot enough to kill all bacteria. Put in some quality Finnish saunas and this would be an 11/10 climbing gym

This is without a doubt one of the best climbing gyms in the country! I've climbed at many of the major gyms across the country over the last 17 years and this is one of the most well built and laid out facilities I've seen. You can always tell when a project was built from the ground up as a dedicated climbing gym instead of a retrofit. It also helps that their staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They have great areas specifically set up for kids, which can be a big pain point at other gyms that don't plan this aspect out well.It is also refreshing to see a world class climbing gym that doesn't use their business as a forum for promoting sociopolitical agendas. Kudos to Vertical View management for keeping this place focused on rock climbing and physical fitness!

Had a blast visiting from California. The staff was super friendly and the owner is a great guy. It was a pleasure meeting him and congrats to him on hosting the upcoming competitions. I can’t wait to watch them online. The lead wall was super tough. It’s taller than our 55’ walls at alpine in Ripon CA. The lead walls were definitely harder than our setting. It’s anecdotal with me only climbing 3 total. I also managed to climb 2 top ropes above my grade. I topped the 11c and 11d but also didn’t flash any routes either. I tried to send the 11a lead which was my 3rd climb and failed. I typically send over 50% of 5.11b at my gym and safe to say I’ll send 11a.The route setting was really fun. The verity in the type of holds was the best part. There was difficult crux moves in the 11b and 11d I climbed. I was on the 11b for 20 minutes.Definitely glad I stopped in with the fam to stomp around in another gym, my first outside of my home gym. Thanks for having us!

I started going to Vertical View in February 2022 and haven't stopped since! I love this place and all the variety of routes available. I had no climbing experience prior to coming here but took both the top rope and lead climbing courses they offer which were great - I now climb there 2-4 times a week year round! And bring all my family (of all ages) here whenever they are in town. The staff is also super nice as well as all of the regular climbers.+They recently upgraded their fitness/gym center with a bunch of new squat racks and a deadlift area I've really enjoyed getting to use.+One thing to note after reading some reviews from parents with young children. While you definitely can bring your kids and let them do the auto-belay routes or bouldering area. I think you will have the best experience if you plan to belay your child for at least some of the time (take the class if necessary - its very affordable and offered frequently!). You will get access to so much more of the walls and can really enjoy all Vertical View has to offer.

AMAZING climbing gym! I just do bouldering, but it had some pretty cool harness walls. The staff was SO cool, and really welcoming. As for the bouldering, just so great. A good variety of easy and hard routes, and it sounds like they change everything often so there are always new challenges. I love that they had plenty of middle of the road routes for people (like me) who aren’t great climbers, but aren’t beginners! Also met the guy who makes the sticker and got a couple. Really nice high quality stickers! Thanks Vertical View for the AMAZING Boise(Meridian) experience!

One year update!I didn’t know how powerful self limiting beliefs are… this year I have had a complete transformation of my two sons emotionally, academically and relationally. Vertical View was the key that opened their success. We just came back and my sons topped every course that they couldn’t complete last year. They did it without hesitation and with complete confidence. I am still speechless at their progress. Their future is so bright!Last year’s review…My sons have had a hard couple of years. I took them on a Mommy Son trip to Vertical View. They were getting stuck with self limiting beliefs. We started on the top level with purple routes. By the end, we were on yellow routes on the main floor. My sons were changed by the time they walked out. This hour and a half will change their lives forever. Thank you to the kind and encouraging staff. We went late at night so we would be alone. I can never thank you enough for giving me my boys back!

Absolutely incredible day for my entire extended family at the Vertical View! It had something for everyone...from my young neices and nephews to my 67 yr old mother. The facility, equipment, friendliness of management/employees, and overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I had 30 people in town for a family reunion. Although I had never been to the Vertical View, I had heard it would be a fun place to entertain a large group. The calculated risk paid off in a big way. When we made the reservation, we were counseled to have a few of the group show up before the rest for a tour and to get belay certified. That was a great suggestion and allowed for more members of our group to climb and be involved at the same time. It was a perfect way to be physically active and have fun in a safe clean environment. We will be getting yearly passes for my family. Thanks again Vertical View!
