Great place to learn jiu jitsu. I've been training at Ares for a few years now and the instructors and students are great. The instructors are both great at teaching jiu jitsu and keeping you motivated to continue training and loving the sport

Great gym for beginners and advanced BJJ students. I came in as a purple belt and right away was welcomed by everyone. I came to Ares for the world class instructors/coaches..but I stay for the people and the atmosphere. Highly recommended Academy if you want to start your BJJ journey or if you want to level up and become a competitor.

Love this place! Quality Jiujitsu and a very friendly vibe. The academy is well maintained, clean and a safe place to train for all levels of students from professional athletes, kids or a mom or dad who just wants to do something for fun and to be more active. The greatest thing to happen to my daughter. During the pandemic it saved her and has turned her into a competitor. She used to pick daisies on the soccer field and now has no problem going in hard for the ball. She has more confidence in all aspects of life. I highly recommend this place and Jamie and Jeremy Wright as instructors.

Great academy with many connections to high level athletes and champions. I studied under this academy for two years took a break and recently came back. It’s amazing to watch improvement from all the Athletes and watch them win competitions. Everyone is very friendly and quick to help each other improve.

Ares Modesto is a great academy and Samir’s teaching is top tier and he has the accolades to back it up. His black belts are some of the best there are and their instruction is also top tier. Classes are held multiple times a day and days of the week. You can’t go wrong choosing Ares Modesto.

We absolutely love this gym! As soon as the kids started it felt like family everyone is so welcoming! We absolutely love the kids coaches they are so devoted their growth.
