I was sold the 16 week weight loss challenge. I have medical challenges and was very upfront about them. I told the man selling the program that at times I might not be able to do 3 days a week. He said “understandable” well, it turns out that if you do not make it to the gym 3 days a week you void your contract for 16 weeks and are now locked into paying for a year. Fine print BS. Even after obtaining a Doctors note stating my disability makes it impossible and even after completing the 16 weeks worth of payments they sent me to collections for NOT paying past the 16 weeks that I signed up for. Scam is all I can say.

Seniors ages 55--95 BEWARE. The place plays high volume noise. I wanted to join. I was willing to pay the full fee for a year upfront.I asked if the 6am class could be run with a lower level of music. But this is what happened--- THE OWNERS TOTALLY IGNORED my REQUEST even after speaking to the wife at length and writing a follow up email on their website/FB when they did not call me back. The owners are not considerate or willing to schedule a class for seniors with less NOISE VOLUME. The owner ( a couple ---husband who is visually impaired and teaches the early morning classes and beautiful young wife--- POWER COUPLE yet these people are completely insensitive to the issue of other disabilities. .Please note: I write as an ADA Disabilities Expert who knows disabilities laws. Although this company has not broken any rules, they are focused it seems ONLY on their own needs for building a NON- inclusive business which discriminates against others with disabilities unlike their own. Also note to the reader--- Visually Impaired use LOUD MUSIC that vibrate to help themselves. If the case is ( I don't know) that this VI OWNER needs the loud music--- HE MIGHT HAVE BEST ADDRESSED THE ISSUE WITH HONESTY AND AUTHENTICITY. That , then, would be easier to understand and accept. Consequently , this company left me open to writing this message to advise the community about how their business is runs--- especially the disabled and senior population.Moral of the STORY: Its Fitness Fanatics Loss of ...REVENUE FROM PAYING SENIORS WHO CAN EASILY AFFORD THEIR PRICE TAG,BUILDING A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL PEOPLE IN A TIME WHEN DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION ARE IMPORTANT VALUES.I have taken my business elsewhere and am paying more for private support from a sensitive trainer...

I joined Fitness Fanatics six months ago, and one of the many factors that attracted me to this gym was the passion that Blake, the instructor, shares with helping his members attain their goals. He is very consistent demonstrating the exercises for each station and always offers modifications for those members who may need additional support. He is constantly walking around helping people with their form and technique while encouraging them to do their best. The facility is extremely clean and well equipped with up-to-date exercise equipment. Everyone is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a gym to join Fitness Fanatics!

I was hesitant to sign up for a new gym. I was in peak shape of my life a few years ago. And then I had a baby and an invasive surgery. And I allowed my healing incision to dictate not moving as much. And I fell into the trap of “maybe next month.” That cycle continued. When we moved back to this area from LA I figured enough was enough and I’d give it a try. Not only is Blake motivating for all body types but they are under priced for the value brought to the table.I signed up for a free week towards the end of 2019 (they now offer 10 FREE CLASSES- ie: unheard of) & I signed up by my 3rd day. FF classes go at your own pace- you choose your weight, intensity and input. But you’re surrounded by people of all ages, sizes, & physical levels, so you can’t help but feel motivated.I stayed with Blake into the heart of the pandemic & had to call it when everything officially shut down. We took some time off and tried to get back in but our kiddo ended up with an unrelated long term hospitalization. Blake and his team were motivating, patient and even checked in on us when we still weren’t coming to classes. This is the kind of community he creates. We really wanted to get back into the gym but kept finding roadblocks that set us back. If you’re like me you just need that one extra push, that one sign to say okay, let’s do it.This gym is like an eclectic family. I’m not even a veteran client but it’s cool to welcome new members every week. You’re welcomed here. Pretentiousness is left at the door. I don’t feel judged when I show up, I look forward to seeing our “gym friends” and laughing away the stress of the outside world. Whether you’re sporting a baggy t shirt or a cute matchy outfit you'll fit right in. I leave every day feeling inspired, proud of my work and eager to push harder the next day.Working out was easy for me a few years ago and then I had a kiddo and I sounded like I was climbing Mount Everest at the end of 45 seconds of jump rope. I laughed it off and pushed harder each day and I found a way to control what I CAN control- myself. We are our own excuses and those excuses get left at the door when you’re here.I feel happier and more fulfilled since making some really simple changes in the gym. I can play longer with our toddler without getting tired. I love meeting new friends each day and hearing similar stories. We’re in this together. We convinced our senior mom to come as well and she loved it. There are “kids” younger than my husband and I, lots of people our parents age as well as our grandparents age! We even have some great grandparents next to us crushing the classes. Where else do you get this kind of mix of people high-fiving each other, cheering each other on and celebrating new accomplishments? It’s such a unique vibe. Now for my review of the gym itself: it’s clean. Light and airy, plenty of equipment, new and exciting exercises but a familiar vibe of routine. They have a free kidz zone room for kiddos to play while we workout (a screen is provided for easy visual access to make sure she is happy and if you are more comfortable you can bring a little monitor from home. We used to but feel very comfortable now that we’re used to it. There isn’t child care staffed but we are just feet away and can see her at all times.) There’s a tv if she wants to watch something but there are so many toys she rarely uses it.)Each station is thoroughly explained and questions are encouraged. There are 3 level demonstrations: advanced, intermediate and beginner. Blake is all about knowing your body’s limits.I love the music. I’d venture to say all genres are represented. It keeps the pace going. I hate quiet gyms without music. I’m sorry I don’t want to hear you breathing next to me. I want to stay focused and the music is a perfect solution to keep me motivated.Ladies: I haven’t been to it yet, but Blake’s wife also hosts an all females class which I hear is awesome.Cons: haven’t found any after almost 2 years, but I encourage you to come check out what all the hype is about.
