My daughter is having a great first time experience with Jiu-jitsu through Gracie the coaches here at this school are focused not only on the martial arts training but the emotional intelligence of our children as well. They cover alot of topics and let the kids think for themselves and come up with their own right answers. ✅️A pleasure to be apart of their program. Highly recommend.

It’s a year into Charles Gracie and my son has learned so much! On top of staying focused, disciplined, and maintaining his health, these classes help my son stay on top of everything! Into a little over 6 months, my son took Silver in a competition. The coaches are the best; they are always looking to focus on all the children getting better and earning their stripes and belts. Would recommend !!

This program has been a Godsend for my family and I. My son has been attending classes 2 times a week for about 8 months now and he absolutely loves it. He looks forward to class every time. I appreciate the confidence that Jiu Jitsu is instilling in him, teaching him that he doesn't need to be afraid of being bullied and how to deal with a bullying situation. I'm also very appreciative of the life skills that are touched on each week. Like Communication, being kind to others, being a first time listener, etc. The coaches demonstrates what it means to be humble yet firm. Respectful and also straight forward. As a parent, I enjoy seeing the growth in all the students at the academy.

I love taking my kids to their Jiu-Jitsu class and seeing them thrive in so many ways. They’ve learned so much from all the coaches from the beginning we’ve started to now. Myself as well have been in the adults and learned a lot especially felt and learned what my kids go through in their classes. They’re taught so much more than just Jiu-Jitsu and thats a plus. We enjoy going to class but I feel like the main coach was a real game changer to my kids during class. My kids loved it when he was always there and they say it doesn’t feel the same without him there in class. My husband and I were always excited to see and hear what he’d have to say to the kids. We loved how he would teach and tell the kids to have manners in class when it was needed. He had made sure the kids were respecting their parents right in front us. My kids have told me how they were more comfortable with him there. The other three coaches are great too. They’ve helped and guided my kids along this journey. I’m grateful for them for doing so. Overall, we love coming to class but miss the main coach and his work with the kids.

Charles Gracie Jiu-jitsu Downtown Modesto has been such a great addition to my son's life in the past 10mo. I have noticed a big difference in his behavior since starting last Fall. The coaches are so great with the students & SO PATIENT with them. Definitely recommend this class for learning self-defense & also self-confidence.

I am so thankful for the love and support Gracie Jiu-jitsu has given and continues to give to my daughter. This has been a prime decision, and it was completely out of her comfort zone. The coaches are AMAZING! They are super helpful and motivating towards all the kids. It is such a positive environment. Not only is my daughter learning self defense but she’s also learning how to be confident within herself. The coaches are very attentive with every student and they make sure to step in if help is needed. I am thrilled to see my daughters growth with Gracie Jiu-jitsu!

My daughter Sophiahas been attending jiu jitsu for about two years now and she loves! It's nice to see the coaches so present and invested in the everyday quality of business operations. Everyone here is friendly and helpful, and they genuinely care about the students in class. Everyone has such impressive patience and discipline to keep all these kids focused during each lesson, not to mention great enthusiasm and technique demonstration. My daughter has learned so much already not only about jiu jitsu, but also how to have confidence in herself!

Jiu-jitsu has been an amazing experience not just for my 2 kids but for us as parents specially during the tournaments . Everything that coaches have been teaching our kids have been helping them with their focus, determination and mental preparation in order to succeed. I can't say enough about how much our family appreciates Gracie jiu-jitsu. When we enrolled 2 months ago, we were hoping that our 8 year-old would gain confidence in public settings. And we have begun to see those changes as well as increased discipline, positivity, and responsibility. The coaches are amazing and they've gained the trust and respect of the kiddos by leading by example. All the kids receive an enthusiastic greeting and tons of encouragement while they practice. Enrolling our son has been one of the best decisions we've made.

I absolutely love these classes for my 7yr old son, and he loves it big time. Not only do the coaches teach him all the cool moves but, they also teach them the things in life that are so important. Like respect, working together for the team, how to be a good listener and how to follow directions,. Any time I am having some difficulty with my little guy with whatever they will pull them to the side and talk to in ways that they can understand. The coaches are absolutely awesome and I am so glad I got my son enrolled here. I highly recommend the GracieJujitsu classes for anyone that has a child or children to start asap. Oh and 1 more thing my son has ADHD and they are amazing at teaching him to focus and to stay on task which is extremely hard for him but when the coaches talk to him he gets it and really does his best. These classes definitely work for my little guy and I am so proud of him. Thanks coaches for all the awesomeness you guys bring every day.
