Jalen (sp?) was outstanding. Extremely empathetic, supportive, responsive, and took immediate action when I let him know of my displeasure at another golds gym location. He followed up with the billing department immediately and I felt like a priority. This golds gym location and jalen are excellent examples of how customer experience should be. If I lived closer to this location, I would absolutely renew my membership. Thanks Jalen

Great gym with a wide variety of equipment. My 1 star rating is due to the owner. I worked there for a week or so and I quit because the owner was very rude and overly passive aggressive. Great place to train but working there is a different ball game.

Left my bag at a location and tried calling the 24 hour location and stayed on hold for 10 min. If you are closed just say it - don’t put 24 hours if you can’t answer.

I must say being a business owner of 25 years. The owner of this gold's gym ought to be proud of himself and all his workers. Not only on an a landscape company but I travel around the world with the motorcoach company I must say this is one of the cleanest and nicest gyms. I have been to around the united states and canada. If you have not had an opportunity to take advantage of this gym you must you will not regret it.

Good, clean gym. Set up for cardio, free weights, CrossFit, and personal training. Only thing missing is a sauna!5 stars for cleanliness, equipment, and friendly staff.

I went in today to try out Gold’s because I was thinking about cancelling at Planet Fitness. Taylor told me I had to pay $15 even though I told him I have never been to Gold’s and it should have been a free day pass. I went ahead and paid it. While working out, I text my sister and she told me it should have in fact been free. Before leaving out, I again asked Taylor why did I pay $15 when on the website it explicitly states the first time you visit it should be free. He told me that’s just the policy. I didn’t want to argue so I called the Memorial location while walking out to my car and spoke to the employee there. He also confirmed I should NOT have paid $15 for my first visit and he looked up my account in the system and told me he did not see any history of me ever visiting. He told me to call back at this location (Old Fort) and find out why Taylor charged me that. I called back and Taylor said he has been charging $15 all day for the passes which was puzzling to me. I told him I need the money refunddd to me and he said his manager Ken was off today and that he didn’t know any other solution for me. This is beyond unethical because he should have known not to charge someone $15 for the free day pass. I am beyond disappointed and now I will not join Gold’s based on Taylor’s actions.EDIT: I called back while in the parking lot and somehow Ken showed up to work to process my refund lol. Taylor told me that Ken was off work today and that was a lie. I went inside and Ken said he processed my $15 back. I am beyond disappointed in Gold’s. Not only did the employee charge me $15 when he shouldn’t have but he also told me a lie and said his manager Ken was off work today and he wasn’t.
