They need to clean these machines. They are covered in dirt and dust. Piled up! It’s disgusting. I wish I could upload photos. cob webs connected to the machine hip builder in the corner from the ceiling. The bases and tops of machines covered in trash particles and dust. The ellipticals NEEDS A LOT OF CLEANING. With so much shared body fluids and germs you’d think that they would take cleaning more seriously. While the employees are laughing and standing perhaps they should help clean. I will have to try another facility.

Went to this gym for a year. Had previously gone to Old Fort location for the classes. Loved it. It's busy but I've always been able to use the equipment I wanted in a reasonable amount of time. There's lots of different options between calisthenics, free weights, and plenty of equipment. If I could change anything I would add multiples of some of the popular free weights. Cancelling when I moved was super easy and I didn't have any issues.

UPDATE- I posted this a year ago and the problems still not fixed. There were days this summer we couldn’t workout or had to go to the Old Fort location and wait 45 minutes for a spot to open up. It’s completely unacceptable but we are locked in for another year since we payed in advance.Original Post- We’ve been members for almost four years. We specifically picked Golds for the childcare and pay extra to have that available. However for over a month there has been no morning child care. They refuse to pay enough to get decent people in to work. I cannot use my membership because I cannot come with 3 children. It is UNACCEPTABLE. They have had plenty of time to find and hire a person but they do not seem to care at all that everyone who paid for childcare is not receiving the service they paid EXTRA for. I’ve repeatedly been told I can come at night or go to a different Golds but I have paid for a trainer who ONLY works at the North location. And I can’t go at night. How about they just hire the appropriate employees for the services and times they advertise to provide

This gym has a good amount of equipment more than one of each almost, and a great big turf in the middle for warm ups and stretching! Posing room which to my understanding Smyrna location does not have. Bigger ladies locker room and friendly counter service.🔥 …

TLDR: They explicitly lied to me about pricing so that I would sign up and are now threatening to attack my credit if I don’t pay an additional $70 (in addition to the $55 I have already paid) for a membership of less than 3 weeks.I wanted a place to workout for the 2.5 weeks I would be living in Murfreesboro. I explained this to the rep who then went over the pricing with me. She explained that it would be a $40 sign-up fee and then $15 every two weeks. Additionally there is a $40 “maintenance fee” that is paid after 30 days. I said I no longer was interested because it wasn’t worth it to pay $110 for 3 weeks. The woman explained that I wouldn’t have to pay that fee because I could just cancel it prior to the 30 day cutoff. So I signed up. Yesterday I went to cancel my membership and was told in order to cancel my membership I needed to pay a $30 cancellation fee in addition to the $40 maintenance fee in order to cancel my membership. I argued with them because this is the exact opposite of what I was told or I would not have signed up and they are now threatening to attack my credit if I don’t pay it. I have literally never seen such an insanely dishonest business practice. They explicitly lied to me so that I would sign up and are now trying to shake me down for money. $120 for 3 weeks. Do not do business with this company.

nice place. I nave national membership and its very reasonable. But please raise the suana temperature in this particular location. Most people prefer saunas as hot as possible and for the rest there is a lower step of the bench to sit on. Thanks for being there for us golds gym

Good experience but terrible contract, no communication (I got the $22 every two weeks). You will not receive notification for when your contract is ending and it automatically rolls over month-to-month after your 12 month term ends. So if you plan on leaving the gym after twelve months, set a 30 day notice on your calendar (because you have to write a letter to them at least 30 days in advance) if you don't want to end up paying afterwards. Fair warning and an exit plan for those on the twelve month contract.Other than that, personal training is great!

Been going here for years. A family of 5. Love the CrossFit stuff. All my kids play sports and this is the place I take them to workout. Employees are always nice. They have tons of cardio stuff, free weights, etc. Track is nice too. Great workout place.

Dropping to two stars due to most recent 'renovation' and the lack of cleaning. The renovation simply consisted of over-crowding the gym with equipment from a location which was closed. Now we have ZERO room in free weight section. Dont look too closely under equipment or you may find the dust collection having a party that you were not invited to. Very disappointing.
