This is easily the best mma gym in the area. Whether you want to compete or just learn and have fun, guardian is the best environment for that. Coach Chad Hardy is the best grappler around, and he makes for an amazing coach. Coach Nakana is one of the most knowledge people in bjj I’ve ever met. And coach Itai is really passionate and willing to help you learn while making it fun. There isn’t a better gym around.

I have been training here for almost two years now and couldn’t be happier that this was the gym I chose to train at. Each coach is an expert at their craft and it has an incredible environment of people helping each other achieve their goals. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I'm pretty new to jiu jitsu and have had an incredible experience at Guardian. The instructors are incredibly knowledgable, clear, patient and most importantly just good people - they look out for everyone in their classes. This is a community that is welcoming, friendly, and challenges you to be better. I genuinely feel like I'm getting just a little bit better with every class - growing, learning, being challenged and pushed, and I'm having a blast doing it.

Very happy with the experience we had/having with Guardian. We have our 2 granddaughters enrolled in the beginner program and it has been a great experience. Very impressed with the ability of of the instructors to connect with kids. Very thankful to have found this place

Wow this gym is absolutely amazing! The staff is wonderful and the structure, amazing! The way this gym becomes more like family is incredible to witness and be a part of! My daughters joined with my husband and after seeing what it has done for them I joined in January! It is a great time, you learn a lot and the coaches are super supportive, and great with my kiddos! They also have great merchandise, great after school programs for kids, womens only group, sometimes they host a parents night out and they truly just want the best for all of their students. I recommend Guardian and always will!

The Academy is very nice they offer everything and anything to help him or her reach their own personal goals. Multiple Black Belts teach every night I wouldn’t recommend any other place.

If you are nervous or anxious about starting... don't be! This place is the real deal and I feel they really care about us white belt beginners and our development as well as their competition team. The instruction team and your soon to be training partners are great with beginners and carry you towards confidence. The training culture is great and exactly what my partner and I were looking for in a BJJ/MMA gym. We train BJJ and Muay Thai/MMA here. They do compete and their competition team is great. The quality of Black Belt instruction is top notch and I am beyond grateful to train under them. If you are looking to start or continue your BJJ journey.. This is the place!

Great atmosphere for everyone from beginners on day one to seasoned competitors. Instructor staff is knowledgeable and professional, and takes the time to ensure you are understanding the steps to each technique. With kid and adult classes, I highly recommend this team for anyone looking for a place to train in the Middle Tennessee area.
