I have never stepped inside this particular Y, but given their shameful signage, I never will.

Little girls and women in the men's shower. I worked out Saturday afternoon and went in the men's locker room to take a shower. As I was getting naked a man came in from the pool with his 9 year old daughter. So I walked to the shower wearing my gym shorts. A female employee was in the shower mopping it. No effort was made to warn us that a woman was in the men's locker room. I don't get it. Do they expect men to get naked in front of little girls and women employees? Or are we supposed to shower while dressed? Seriously, if a ymca employee reads this, what do you expect men to do?Since posting this I haven't heard anything from ymca. I haven't been to another ymca either.

Terrible staff and policy there's a no loud policy which is bs this is a gym not a library the pool was rusted and dirty and the equipment was extremely old and low quality membership cost very high for a terrible experience because there's no other competition go to somewhere else if you're looking for a real gym experience

Beautiful facility, reminds me of a grand lodge. I went there to swim and the pool is very well maintained and clean as a whistle. I loved the experience of trying out this YMCA. I would definitely recommend membership.

Well they say they are "open" until 9pm but got there tonight (Monday 10-3) between 8:20-8:25pm and doors were locked. I called and asked about why and lady said they lock doors at 8:30pm(but it wasnt 8:30 yet). Plus i pay for a membership and should be entitled to be there during thier posted "open" hours which is until 9pm. Lady was very rude on phone and hung up on me when i tried to explain this. Its a very nice facility but think if i pay for a membership i should be able to be there when they are open.

Always a good time playing pickleball. Getting groups organized to play at 5:30, 6 or 6:30 can be a challenge, but we make it. The BEST part is how we are all so welcoming to invite other players and rotating around.

The recent resurfacing of the salt water pool has made this a delightful place to swim. The water is crystal clear with no sediment. The large windows give great daylight and the outside greenery compliments the live palms by the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In short this aquatic center is a real gem in Brown County. We are so lucky to have it.

Very nice YMCA for a small community. Nice size pool, but needs more attention to cleaning. Cardio machines a bit dated, but in good working order. Nice assortment of weight machines. Great staff and clean facility.

The converted salt water pool is wonderful. But the floor is bubbling and marcite finish is chipping away leaving the pool with discolored gaps and holes. Apparently, management did a "home remedy" in resurfacing the the pool with non- professionals to save money. Now they will spend more $$$ to fix the mess. The ladies at the front are very sweet and helpful, but unmasked as is everyone. At Bloomington Y everyone is masked even in pool area until you dive in. Lifeguards, staff, front desk. Can't be there with no mask.

Pool has rust along side and is absolutely disgusting. Walls and doors around pool are rusty. Lady who works the counter during the week days isn't very pleasant at all to members. They charged me for 2 months up front and within a month charged me again saying they stay a month ahead. So, charged 3 months in my first month... Won't refund after saying they overcharged my bank account. For being a family center they treat you like trash. If you like dirty locker rooms, disgusting pool, kids running around without parents and employees who aren't friendly this is your place. Take a walk around before signing up and you'll see what I'm talking about. For a place that charges $52+ a month and isn't open on Sunday and not very accessible they should at the least have a friendly staff and a clean place to enjoy. If your children like summer programs, take them elsewhere this one does not off Y sports at all. Just a free soccer camp in the summer. This Y has been a nightmare and with all the gyms around these days I guarantee you can find a nicer place for cheaper. If not get ahold of me and I'll charge you $50 and be rude to you and trash my place up and tell you it's a nice family environment that will occasionally steal from your bank account. When asked to refund your money I'll belittle you and them tell you the CEO will not be in until next week. Think twice about joining here please.
