What kind of gym that if you pay $10 a month you can only go to the game 11-3pm and 7-9pm why would you have that membership. Smh

I've been going here for a few months. One of the largest gyms I've been a member of. Large variety of equipment. Never really crowded even on peak hours and always very clean.

Recently signed up for a membership and took advantage of the free first session with a personal trainer. After a mix up on my behalf, the employees were super understanding and helpful. They immediately got me set up for my first hour with Lowell. I 10/10 recommend. He was very down to earth, easy to discuss my future fitness goals with, very accommodating, and definitely listened to what I was looking for. The work out routine we did was a great experience and will definitely be my base structure moving forward. I can 100% say that I left the gym feeling like I have more direction and ambition to move forward than when I walked in today. 10/10 stars for me.

I've been going here about 4 years now. It's no frills but it gets the job done. The women's only area could seriously use an upgrade on weights. The weights they have, the screws come loose on. I usually have to tighten them up. It could be a safety hazard as a plate could easily fall off. The staff has always been friendly to me. Always plenty of machines even if they're in peak hours. They have 2 of each pin loaded, hammer strength machines, and plate loaded. Plenty of cardio equipment.I've cancelled once and had no issues with billing. But I'll tell you what made me want to cancel: I show up at 5:15 AM to get a workout in, caffeinated and ready to go when the gym should've opened at 5:30 and there was no signs of life just before 6 AM. This seems to be a repeat issue. And when I signed up for this, it was 24 hours and you could bring a guest. I used to bring my friend when she was in from out of town. The weekend hours suck; I would have busy days and would go in the evenings. There's 2 other gyms I go to. I just go here since it's cheap and convenient.

MOST EXTENSIVE CANCELLATION PROCESSYou must go to the location ask for a membership # and email them with a 45 day notice that you want to cancel.I’ve attempted to cancel my membership on different occasions and they keep charging me. I signed up to what was advertised to me as a no-commitment membership as I was working out with somebody who goes there for a period of two weeks. After noticing they kept charging me, I notified them I want to cancel but they insist they must keep charging me because the desk attendant forgot to send the cancellation email. I’ve paid $167 and counting…

I recently started getting back to working out a couple of months ago. I was at 240 at the start of January I’ve been able on my own lose roughly 20 pounds. Overall I thought I was doing pretty good and then I met a trainer named Tommy. Tommy is honestly one of the best trainers Ive ever worked with. Even before the workout session and we were just talking he got me more excited than Ive ever been about my goals and where I can potentially go in the future. Then the workout happened and man I had a smile on my face for the entire time. He brought a level of energy out of me that I haven’t felt since high school (A.K.A Beast Mode). So overall if you come to Workout World and you want a trainer I highly recommend Tommy.

Been coming here for months now- moving soon and I am very sad to have to find a new gym! Everyone who works here is just so great and down to earth, and they treat everyone like real people. The facility is massive and has multiples of all gym equipment, meaning that even at busy times like 5-6 PM you still rarely have to wait for anything because there is plenty to go around. They keep the place clean with regular cleanings and overall it's just a no BS environment. You come here to lift weights and that's that. The gym goers here are also awesome as well and I have met some great personalities.I originally went to the WoW in West Newton prior to moving to New Bedford, and though it's a lot more "bougie" it just does not hit the same as the New Bedford one. Management there is rude, place is cramped as all hell, and some of the other gym goers can be a bit insufferable- but not at the New Bedford location! It's a little weird how attached I've grown to this place but it's really been accelerating my own progress and I have easily had the best and most consistent workouts of my life here.In particular Todd and Ryan are just two awesome guys who work here. They work hard and care about everyone that walks through those doors. I am really bummed out about having to find a new gym due to moving soon but I will not forget my time spent here and with all of the great people!!

I felt accepted, heard & at home the moment I walked into the doors of this profoundly, clean, updated , professionally managed facility. The guys who greeted me, were priceless! The exceptional kindness, a considerable amount of compassion, and generosity along with their mutual respect for one another, were the finishing touch to the whole experience, (oh and the juice bar!!!! Are you kidding me?!??!) making my decision to join, a no-brainer! Now I just need the motivation and commitment, even when my world seems to be falling apart, knowing that exercise and physical movement improves mood, releases anxiety, and improves problem solving skills.

Always clean what else could you ask for. Well the customer service has always been good when I've needed it too if anyone is interested in that .
