Radiant Hot Yoga in Newport Beach offers a unique and intense hot yoga experience. Located in the Newport North Shopping Center, this studio focuses on providing high-energy classes that combine cardio flows and foundational postures in 105-degree heat. Enthusiastic instructors, a clean environment, and a welcoming community are hallmarks here. The studio also gained appreciation for offering free online classes during the 2020 lockdowns, showing commitment to its clients. However, some practitioners have criticized the intense, fast-paced nature of classes and high noise levels.

While many find the workouts highly effective and refined, others believe the classes stray too far from traditional yoga practices. It's a favorite for those seeking a physically demanding and motivating atmosphere but may not suit those looking for a tranquil or traditional yoga experience.

Pros:

  • High-energy classes
  • Clean and comfortable studio
  • Welcoming community
  • Great for cardio and strength
  • Inspirational instructors
  • Convenient location
  • Varied class routines
  • Free online classes during the lockdown
  • Intense and challenging workouts

Cons:

  • Classes can be overcrowded
  • Not suitable for traditional yoga enthusiasts
  • High noise levels and abrupt music changes

They pack you in like sardines compromising your enjoyment of the yoga experience. I believe that they are more interested in quantity over quality. Not recommended at all. There are much better options.

As a yoga instructor I feel this denies the authenticity of the practice with loud music, yelling, and intensity like a HIIT class. Always packed. Overly expensive. I asked about an intro special and they said no, $40 a class. Then on Class Pass later I see they’re 2 credits so $5. Lied to from rude front desk, told by the instructor I wasn’t able to leave the class despite overtly hot temps, couldn’t even hear over the music, abrupt song changes, no smoothness. Not relaxing. Just should not call themselves yoga whatsoever. I’m offended, frankly.

I really do not understand how people give more then 2 starts to this place.. yes it is cool but It is not Yoga they teach crazy fast zumba hot classes.. they copy the secuence of Bikram yoga in a bad way, they go fast with the moves so nobody check students and you can not align or get a deep experience of the real yoga pose so no it is not yoga, Yoga means connection body-mind and spirit. Easy to get hurt or injured so If they are real yoga teachers there they will no the basic principle of Ahimsa no hurting people, but how they teach here is a fast ritmo, high volume music, super hot so their clients thinks they works hard bc they sweet a lot, mirrors, bad music for yoga you can not connect.. and the worst they charge a lot of money to Certificated people that wants to be a Yoga teacher, scary new generation of teachers hurting souls.. please study what is yoga before going to these places or give them money, your body is your temple and your soul are looking for that connection. The owner said she is spiritual but I do not thinking she understands this connection part. I have been practicing for more then 20 years and I am a yoga teacher with more then 800 hours teaching training.. please change the name This is not yoga.. We are in Aquariun age people need Real Yoga… Namaste.. Sat Nam…

Radiant is by far my favorite yoga studio. I moved to LA and I still will venture down every once in awhile to practice. I have tried many different studios and although special in their own way, Radiant is my home. The moments in the studio have got me through some of the most challenging moments in my life while also contributing to some of my most happiest days. The physical work out also keeps me in the best shape and you always leave feeling better than when you walked in! Very grateful to have found Darlene and the community here!

One of the best studios I have practiced in nationwide. Friendly staff, incredible master teachers & atmosphere permeated with healing & inspiring energy. I felt very much at home on my first day here. I was deeply impressed when they provided FREE online classes during 2020 lockdowns just to support their client's during these tough times. They truly walk the path of what YOGA is all about... My favorite instructors: Darlene (ultimate & powerful divine feminine), Ashley (warrior high energy goddess), Doug (Yin extraordinaire healer), Debbie (angelic healing vibrations).

I've been to many hot yoga studios in SoCal over the past 5 years, and Radiant Hot Yoga is by far the best. The studio is always clean, the practice/program is great (I think it's a lot better than Bikram), and the instructors are awesome. …
