Crunch Fitness - Cerritos

A good energy place. Lots of young people and hard core bodybuilding types. Everyone is friendly and chill. Only reason for the downvote is that the bathroom really need an upgrade. The shower stalls are always dirty and filthy. Alway have lots of hair debris. Soaps never filled. The excuse of short staffed janitor on weekend is no excuse. It’s like saying no burgers at McDonald’s. Come on!! A clean bathroom is essential to the health and safety of the gym users. No excuse there. Hope it’ll turn around one day. I do love the gym and want to come for years to come. A janitorial staff that takes pride in its work is essential to turn things around here.

This is actually a very good gym I do have to give it that. The problem I have is with the way this gym is managed. I recently got a call from a collections account, to my understanding my gym membership had been canceled in June 2022. The collection call said I had a delinquent account that I haven’t payed since July. I called in to the gym at 9am looking for a manager to talk to, I was told they wouldn’t be in till noon. I call back at noon to speak with “manager” Tim which sounded like I caught him eating lunch or something. He told me he would look into it and would call me back. I have built my excellent credit up for many years so for something like this to effect my credit report is a very serious matter. I heard nothing from Tim so I called back at around 2pm where I was informed he was on lunch and would be back at 3:30 pm. Once I got a hold of Tim, his tone sounded irritated and basically told me the best he can do is cancel my late fees. I tried explaining that I didn’t see reason for me to pay something I never used and to my understanding was canceled. Tim the manager basically told me I could either pay it or get my hard earned credit record destroyed. I asked if there was anyone above him to help me out with the issue and he said if I wanted to talk to someone else good look catching them and laughed. Not sure how managers here are trained but they clearly need to undergo interpersonal communicating courses. At this point I am on the brink of losing everything I’ve worked for due to a collection account I had no idea of.

I live in Cerritos, CA. I had been a member of Cerritos Crunch Fitness when they open in 2017. The Cerritos Crunch should repair thr ceiling of the classroom for zumba. The ceiling has been leaking when the rainy season. It is the health issue. There might have mold. Mold is bad for your lung. They put a bucket on the floor in the classroom forever. It's been more than three months. They do not take care of customers of zumba and other class. The second issue is the woman restroom. The hand dryer had been broken 3 years. They put the sign of "Temporary out of service," but they had never fixed it. There are no paper towels, too.Can you repair the broken ceiling and broken two hand dryers in the lady restroom? Both are related the public health issue. Please!
