Mountain Yoga is much more than a yoga studio and practice. Ann has created a community, weaving in meditation, chanting, fascinating speakers, fantastic workshops and retreats. The best part for me is that you get all these benefits without the pretension you sometimes find in a yoga studio — Ann and her team are down to earth, meet you where you are, and make it easy to fit right in. Highly recommended

I am so happy Mountain Yoga exists. A great range of classes and teachers for every skill level. Ann Dyer (and the rest of the teachers here) has gone above and beyond to create series for every kind of interest and practitioner. I feel (as a perpetual beginner to yoga) well supported and happy to show up to classes - in person or remote. Thank you Mountain Yoga!

Mountain Yoga teachers are gracious, knowledgeable, fun, compassionate people who love to share their love of yoga. Whether in person or on zoom, I know that every time I'm at Mountain Yoga, I will be welcomed, learn something new, and feel better. It's the best!

Mountain Yoga is my go to yoga studio. The instructors are all superb. MY provides a nice variety of classes. I have enjoyed the workshops that provide a deep dive into a specific pose. Never thought I'd enjoy focusing on a pose but Ann breaks down the pose in a masterful way that allows me to do more than I'd ever hoped! Thanks MY for getting me through the pandemic...

Mountain Yoga has something for everyone. The teachers are all warm and welcoming and take their students on voyages of discovery using movement as the guide. They create practice spaces where everyone can participate at their own pace and level. Curiosity and exploration are encouraged and embraced, and breath is the centerpiece. If you are new to yoga, or a long-time practitioner you will find your tribe here.

Mountain Yoga is an amazing yoga studio. It has a bench of great teachers and offers both in-person and on-line classes. This gem of a studio is focused on improving the health and lives of its community. In addition to yoga for all levels and ages the studio offers morning meditation, chanting, yoga of writing and other innovative offerings. The studio is fueled by the passion and creativity of its owner Ann Dyer Cervantes, my wife!

I recently joined Mountain Yoga after having gone to a wonderful studio, Loka Yoga for many years. The pandemic brought about many changes, one of them the closure of many long time beloved studios. But do NOT despair! Mountain Yoga has survived and thrived through it all. I never thought I would find a new "yoga home". Mountain Yoga has a class for any level of ability and physical limitation. There is a wide variety of instructors with many different approaches. More classes are being offered in-person so I have gotten to meet many new people. Everyone has been welcoming.

Mountain Yoga saved my sanity when my husband was ill, and gave me tools, both physical and meditative, to live through the COVID pandemic. The management and teachers are superb. I have favorites, but have never been disappointed in any class. The whole organization is sensitive, skilled and responsive. There are many different styles and levels of difficulty in yoga to choose from, and personalized advice is always available. They were able to keep the organization open by creating an excellent Zoom program during the pandemic. Getting back to in-person classes is a joy, and the convenience of still having Zoom available is great! Unquestionably 5 star!

Mountain Yoga has been part of my person well being for many years. Wonderful, highly trained, dedicated teachers each with their own special take on yoga, make Mountain Yoga, a place for everyone, regardless of experience level. The morning sound meditation with Ann which started in the pandemic is a brilliant experience of deep listening and has helped me "be in the moment" in other areas of my life. The studio offers many riches. Some of my favorites being, Feel Good Fridays, Community Chant and the morning meditation sessions.

Mountain Yoga is a studio where students can take a class and feel welcomed and their needs met regardless of how long they have been practicing. The teachers tailor make poses based upon the individual’s comfort level. The secret weapon is the teachers Ann, Baxter, Bette, Sarah, Mindy and others who each have their own unique styles of practice. Want to try a new teacher …no problem your dues can apply to all the classes. As a veteran of many Bay Area yoga studios over the years, this is one of the best out there. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!
