Truve is the best gym/wellness facility in the whole east bay. Over the years I’ve used a lot of their different services from the spin classes and boot camps, to the acupuncture and physical therapy - all super high level products and service! Alison and Dennis are the best part of Truve because they create such a welcoming community and experience for everyone. Highly recommend.

After moving to Oakland from Costa Rica to study, I knew I needed to find a community of people who I felt comfortable around. I tried a couple community classes at Truve and everyone was super welcoming. I have been taking classes ever since. I especially love that they have a discount for students.

As a wellness professional and trainer, I've seen ALOT of gyms and boutique studios and TRUVE is by far one of the best I've ever seen. Top notch group fitness classes and personal training by professionals who are qualified and care about …

Truve and its owner Alison are absolutely amazing. I never thought I’d be one to spend money on personal training, but after an injury several years ago and a whole lot of weight gain, I decided to invest in myself. Alison changed my life, literally. I went from avoiding group fitness activities like hikes, or yoga because of shame about my abilities, to literally taking the lead in all those things. I became the strongest I’ve ever been and suddenly was able to do 8 mile strenuous hikes faster than my athletic husband and move to advanced yoga classes. Moving away to Southern California took a toll on my body due to not having Alison around. I can’t wait to have the chance to work with her again to be and feel my best self. The community and facilities at Truve also cannot be beat. It’s truly a family and feels like a safe and encouraging place whether you’re totally out of shape or at the top of your game.

I have been a Truve member for over five years now. Although I've been in and out (due to COVID and personal reasons) I've had 2 trainers that I've really loved and I feel familiar with the other trainers through individual classes or just witnessing their trainings with other clients.Truve isn't your typical gym. Your experience at Truve will always cater to your personal needs. I was first introduced to Truve by a friend who recommended a trainer. I needed help getting back on track after cancer treatment and my trainer took the time to really get to know me and my body. Although I'd see my trainer twice a week, I would also attend community workout classes or Truve events. I also met one of my favorite acupuncturist through Truve. The team at Truve is highly knowledgable and experienced, from training athletes to helping people rehab from injury or illness, you'll most certainly find someone at Truve who can help you. What's great about Truve is that you find yourself building a community with the people at the gym. This makes your fitness journey more meaningful and less stressful. I highly recommend Truve to anyone looking for support with their health, because this gym isn't just about working out, its about the overall health journey and experience.

I first discovered Truve Fit a couple years ago. Like many, I came out of “sheltering in place” with a few added, unwanted pounds. I figured it would be a nice change to workout with a personal trainer, and I found Truve (and a few others) on Yelp! I immediately scheduled new client calls with a handful of trainers. After speaking with each potential trainer, going with Alison and her team at Truve was a no-brainer. It was clear she was down-to-earth and very flexible. I met a couple of her other trainers as well, as we figured out my schedule and who had availability. At first, my intention was to have someone come to my house, as I am normally not super comfortable at gyms. Truve was different. Everyone was super friendly - no douchey gym vibe here! After my first workout, I immediately felt comfortable and was happy to workout at Truve.Truve also offers a variety of other awesome services that I use. Amanda is, hands down, one of the best massage therapists I have ever seen (and I’ve seen many!). After seeing her once, I quickly got on her schedule for bi-weekly massages and just recently increased them to weekly (to coincide with an abnormally stressful time at work). She’s exceptional and tailors every massage to what I need and how I’m feeling at the moment. She’s also super sweet and always makes me feel comfortable and at ease.I’ve not yet tried acupuncture at Truve, but it’s the very next thing I plan to try out. I’ve been meaning to try acupuncture for some time now and was very pleasantly surprised to learn that Truve offers this service, as the quality of practitioners working at Truve is very high across the board. I have no doubt I won’t be disappointed.Over the years, I’ve been a member at a number of different gyms, but Truve Fit is like no other. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, the caliber of practitioners at Truve is exceptional, and the space is awesome for group classes or personal training. Parking is also fully validated at no cost - which is an added bonus!Definitely try out Truve Fit; you won’t regret it.

Truve is THE most amazing studio/gym I’ve trained at! I’ve trained at various boutique gyms in the SF Bay Area and Seattle, but have yet to find a space that offers the same vibe or attention to detail as Truve. After training and conditioning with Alison, I’ve gotten so much stronger, started lifting weights, began eating more, and really started to love and appreciate my body. This isn’t just a gym, but an inclusive community space for health and wellness. The variety of classes offered keeps things fresh and exciting and I’ve enjoyed personal and group training sessions with various trainers (including owner Alison Campbell), spin, body sculpting, yoga, Pilates, HIIT, TRX, etc. The space is gorgeous! Truve also supports the local businesses and artists, often displaying their work at the studio.

As I sat in the Physical Therapy room while the amazing Dr. Dayna helped me with a pinched nerve in my neck, I thought to myself, "Truve really does have my back -- LITERALLY this time but in so many ways over the years."The owner, Alison was able to make this appointment happen next day, when it would usually take a week to get seen. She has also set me up with the most affirming, challenging, badass personal trainers to support different wellness goals I've had.Truve has offered free community classes since the beginning with new exercises, good vibes, and partner/group activities so that we're not tempted to duck out before we've done our reps :PIt's such an amazing spot that's constantly evolving, but stays really true to its roots of helping the whole person (and the whole community) thrive. I always feel welcome, engaged, and supported, and the classes are always a great mix of challenging but accessible.I've been to a lot of gyms and Truve is one of my absolute faves.Thank you so much, Truve, for having my back in more ways than one ;)

Truve is the most unique gym I've ever been to. Everyone is so friendly, the classes are great and they give back to the community. Alison who is the owner is also a trainer and she gives the gym her all. She makes sure that everyone feels taken care of down to the little things in the bathroom.I moved out of Oakland and I really miss this space for getting stronger physically and mentally. There is really nothing like Truve anywhere.
