I'll just say take a tour of the gym before you join. Ask questions about services you thought were once offered.

I called to cancel my membership in October 2022 and that I did not want to renew my membership. they told me they would “notate the account” and cancel it out in July 2023. I was not told I had to sign any termination form since I was allowing my account to run its full course. Well, I was charged today for the month of August 2023 so I call the location for a refund. Again, haven’t been to this location since sometime last year. I spoke to Nick, who told me they tried to send a termination form to an email account that was not my email and said it was my fault because I didn’t call back to follow up so I wouldn’t receive a refund. What a rip off! So they are keeping my money and giving me nothing in return. As a mom with a recent life changing event, I am livid that they offered nothing for THEIR mistake. Even Nick saw the note in the account, but still said it’s my fault for not calling no back, even though no one said I needed to fill out a form in October. Don’t let this company scam you when you’re ready to cancel and always go in house to complete the process.

Great athletic club in north OKC. I play pickle ball here regularly. They have nice basketball courts and a great pool too. It’s not overly crowded and while it’s an older facility, they e done a nice job keeping it up. Membership definitely saves you money if your playing pickle ball regularly.

Too many basketball courts in one tight area. Prices way too high for youth basketball games. Never can tell if the front door is at the top of the parking lot or downstairs in the side back door by the swimming pool.

The center is well kept and clean. We enjoy time at the pool during the summer.

This place will charge you an arm and a leg to watch basketball. The facility lacks the quality needed to charge $12 a day or $20 for two days.

SSFLC is a wonderful facility and organization that is so much more than just a community gym. As a wheelchair user, adaptive sports & fitness athlete, and a veteran, they have provided me with so much support and opportunity to improve myself both as an athlete and as a person. The fitness rooms have adaptive equipment that you just won’t find in most gyms and the staff are available & happy to show you how to use all of it. The atmosphere is vibrant and friendly, and your fellow gym rats are always willing to step in & spot you, share workout tips & tricks, or just have a friendly chat. They also partner with the OKC VA to offer adaptive sports clinics to disabled veterans which help build confidence, allow socialization, and manage chronic pain and PTSD. But that’s not all. There are also adaptive sports clinics for the community at large, a weekly wheelchair-based group workout called Push Club, and their new monthly Wheelie Club to introduce kids to adaptive sports. All of these are free and open to disabled & able-bodied people alike (they have sports chairs you can borrow), and I was honored to be asked & allowed to volunteer to help coach the kids and lead the Push Club workouts for the month of April 2023.All of the above is just the tip of the iceberg. SSFLC offers more than I could list here, but their commitment to being the premiere destination for adult and youth adaptive sports & fitness in central Oklahoma is a major part of their overall mission. I would strongly encourage anyone with a disability or physical/cognitive limitation, and parents/family of someone with a disability or limitation, to come & see what SSFLC has to offer. The opportunities to be active and social can be life changing!

Santa Fe Family Life Center goes above and beyond to make their facility accessible for ALL.SFFLC provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities and disadvantaged youth to participate in sports and fitness activities. They offer classes that are accessible for all, provide workout equipment for wheelchair users, they have sport wheelchairs for activities like basketball, and so many different opportunities for those with disabilities.Their knowledge, education, and willingness to continue bettering says SO much for a facility.Thank you Santa Fe Family Life Center.

Sadly, they only care about their contracts, policy and money.I chose to work out here at the request of my personal trainer.Although I enjoyed the facility and everyone at the front desk was friendly, when it came time for us to cancel we happened to cancel a few weeks after our auto-renew contract of 6 months. So although we gave notice, they informed us that we will pay the remaining 5 months of our contract because “it’s our policy”.I should add that after Nick said there is absolutely nothing we can do, he then offered to “let us out of our contract today” at just half the cost of the remaining payments. So it turns out there was something he could do, meaning that he could have let me out of my contract entirely, but chose not. This was not sufficient for me as I am no longer using their facilities, they’re continuing to take my money even though I asked for help and understanding with getting out of a contract I didn’t know I had. I thought we had a month to month contract and at the very least I thought we would receive communication before the auto-renew would go through.Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this gym.Any business that forces someone to pay a contract when they tried to cancel, give notice, no longer use the facility and communicate - doesn’t sit well with me.Santa Fe Family Life Center only cares about the money.
