Super cool gym. Friendly staff. Anyone can buy a day pass and try it out! Members can bring a guest for free which is great for novice climbers wanting to try it out! Would recommend

Pretty cool rock climbing gym. Staffs always nice, although if you get the membership, the buddy pass only allows you one to bring one guest ONE TIME a month.

This bouldering gym should not be 4.8 stars, and I’m not sure what warrants it.For background, I came in from out of town, and wanted to show friends bouldering. When you first walk in you are attacked by a stench of feet. Of course climbing gyms have some feet smell. I’ve been to several bouldering gyms in Portland, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, and Oahu. The feet smell is a different level of bad. And it’s because this place has such poor ventilation. It’s an old office space that is converted, but they ripped out the AC. Really hot and humid. We made a mistake with our Groupon. I called ahead and thought we were all set up. We were only told we needed to come at the top of the hour, not that we needed to reserve it too. No worries, that’s our mistake; we could have figured that out. The problem was one of the ladies working on staff giving us such a bad attitude about it. I imagine others have made similar mistakes, so I understand the lack of patience, but she went too far. She just kept pointing at a sign and saying she won’t allow us to take advantage of them. We sorted it out by just buying a day pass on top of the Groupon. One of the male staff members was nice and helped teach my friends how to fall. The problems at about V4 and below often were ladders, just with worse holds. There were no thought provoking starts or cool crux moves. They felt uninteresting. There are no outside sinks to wash your hands. Every minute we were there, there was a line to the gender neutral bathrooms in the front. The place was super crowded on a Sunday afternoon (we came at 2pm). I can’t imagine how it looks after work hours on the weekdays. There is no rentable chalk, only purchasable chalk. There are no showers or lotion. There is only bouldering, and since the overall space is so small the slab problems were totally lacking. I think maybe they were painting a section that was slab; it was empty. The weights and campus board area is the minimum. No kilter, moon, or tension board. Also there is no spray wall. This place is barebones y’all. In my experience, it’s the worst bouldering gym I’ve been to. I’m bummed I chose to take my friends here instead of Cliffs of Id or Hollywood Boulders.

Large gym but also many people despite the non-peak time. They only have bouldering in the location. No belay.A few other things to do other than climbing (table tennis, board game, etc). Desk staffs are more attentive than most Hangar locations I’ve been to.Most parking spaces are next door or a few blocks away. They building didn’t have a lot of spaces.

The place is huge, all boulder. What I loved about the problems are that they are well thought out. Most of the problems I tried have a component of power, really good leg work, and core component. It's just not easy to power through the harder problems. The staff were very friendly, the bathrooms clean, and lots of places to stash your stuff. There is a weight lifting area which I didn't use but looked great and also a great hangboarding area. I thought the coloring system was great instead of V-grading. Gets packed by evening but it's a friendly crowd.

Love coming to this location, routes are switched frequently so there is always something new to try. Super clean facilities and helpful staff. I will be coming back to this location for years to come.

Finally I am back to climbing after being out when Covid hit. Many routes and many different levels for all climbers. I visited the place at 5:30PM and it was crowded but not pack. Great place for some workout; however parking is limited at that hours. Get your membership on Groupon for good discount!

Nice gym.Pros: good variety of route style and wall angle (not 99% overhanging like the Arcadia location), plenty of seating, enough bathrooms that aren’t dingy (looking at you again Arcadia), plenty of cubbies for your stuff (study hard here Arcadia), fun weekly “comp” wall with fun boulders, spray wall, very few children, and air conditioning with many fans to stay coolCons: very little parking, often at capacity inside and requires waiting outside (check their ig for updates), air quality inside is poor at best so do your warmups/ cardio outside, ping pong try-hards take up too much space, and lots of shirtless dudes running around making the mats all sweaty (maybe that’s your thing 🤷♂️)

Super fun gym, the only sad part is we came when a wall was stripped getting ready to be set. Fun atmosphere only negative is parking is pretty limited
