I was a purple belt in town on business and Tommy went out of his was to help me get some rolls in while away from my home gym.His gym's quality cannot be overderstated.

I went as a guest and I was treated with the most respect. Everyone there is nice. I had no issue. The owner Tom is very nice and really knows his jujitsu. I went to a few classes and I had fun each time. I recommend to come and try it you will not be disappointed. Everyone there treats each other as family. When I come back to Florida I will come to this gym again.

Ever since training here for the past 3 years. It has felt like home, Coach Tommy and Coach Shannon has been such a great influence on my life. Everybody within the vortex family as well. I’m so happy I have found such an amazing gym and people. Ossss

This is an excellent place to train. All the instructors and students are very friendly and welcoming. They all make it a joy to come in and improve your skills while having a ton of fun. I only wish I had starting training here sooner.

My daughter and I train here and we love the comradery, friendships, and atmosphere. Professor Tommy has a great team of professors that are highly skilled and are able to aid with the adjustment needed. We feel at home.

Great place with even better people.My daughter and I joined about a month ago and we are both loving it. The kids class has been awesome for her. Not only does it keep her active but she can't wait to roll with her new friends. Coach Tommy and all of the other amazing coaches welcomed us in and made it a breeze to get started with no pressure. They treat you like family and are down to earth. The facilities are clean and people are great, what more could you ask for. If your looking for a BJJ gym, This is it!

Best place I have ever trained for BJJ in 14 years of practicing that amazing sport! Professor Tommy Wales is an amazing teacher, very strong and knowledgeable. Great with any age kids and any adults. And I would like to mention that his gym is spotless clean.

Professor Tommy is a talented and friendly individual. Vortex has a welcoming environment that makes children and adults alike to feel involved. My son enjoys the children’s class where he is able to learn lifelong techniques to prevent bullying and build physical health. Can’t praise this place enough.

I am visiting family in Palm Bay for the holidays and was looking for a place to practice more BJJ. I'm new to the sport and still have lots to learn. Professor Tommy and his staff were more than welcoming! They are professional and passionate about their craft. Everyone here is very supportive and is there to help.
