Anytime Fitness was a positive change of environment for me! I love that it’s 24 hrs and the gym at most has 7 people during its busy hours. It’s small but has the essentials for working out.

I decided to kick off my health campaign at Anytime Fitness Pasadena.Overall, a nice experience. The staff is welcoming, the facility is clean, the machines are up to date, and they offer a 1-time personalized training session when you sign up where they measure your BMI, etc. Downstairs there is a significant number of weight lifting machines. Upstairs there is cardio, additional weight lifting, and a functional strength training setup. The major selling point for me is that it is open 24/7.I only go in the evening, and so it has never been so busy where I couldn't get my desired workout in during my time there.I appreciate that everyone wipes down the equipment after use. There could be better etiquette to organizing the weights. The parking lot and entrance is off Madison Ave, behind Urth Cafe. It's a city parking lot and the rate is affordable. Highly recommend using the Passport app.The major drawback is the price of the membership. The non-contract biweekly price is $34.99 ($910 / year). This is prohibitively expensive to folks at many income levels and causes my own disdain. They do offer discounts if you sign up for a 1-year ($64.99/month, $780/year) or 2-year ($59.99/month, $720/year) contract. When you sign up there are additional fees that add up to around $100, such as for the key fob & starting off the membership.

Anyone else see that movie with Denis Richards, with those brain eating creatures? That's part of my exeperience...... When I have a good gym day, it's a good gym day, when I don't, it's still a good gym day. But The parking isn't free for members, nor have there been any designated to anytime fitness. I was discouraged from purchasing a 75$ monthly pass. And I get looks and avoided by some staff members. And I'm constantly interrupted when I'm working out. It's very difficult for me to focus on my workout while I'm there. The showers are nice and warm the vending machine is rarely understocked. One member was working out a staff interrupted her workout and said he just wanted to "watch" her workout. It was a little creepy. I went downstairs and shortly after she followed. I'm not sure if I made her comfortable to continue her workout elsewhere. I also had a conversation with a staff who I told a young girl made a particular look at me and the he started making the same look that I expressed to him and I go to this gym for the location and I might get kicked out because of verbally expressing myself to myself to try to keep myself focused while everyone is mad for some reason that I go to this gym. They transferred my member ship without asking me and are kind treating me the same at the gym, how ever they want to. I did an inscan and it was, for some reason, more important to tell me my age. There's an older female staff and I believe the staff is confusing me with her and another staff I was talking to, immediately gets defensive about "I was just talking to her about xyz" I'm not really getting any like normal feedback from staff other than getting kicked out of someone complains about me again. So if possible. If I'm not on a machine, I'm not using it. And one of the male staff tried to coerce me into do an assessment with him and I'm glad everyone else is having a good experience but theyre pretty aggressive with me. There was also a african american male trainer that made a face at me. But it's almost as if I look at then to see what face they want to make at me and I'm literally just trying to workout at a gym thay I pay to be a part of. I think that make staff has an attraction to the female members and he constantly makes me feel like reassured about being attractive with I don't want to have happen. It's making me a little insecure as there aren't too many black members. I'm a personal trainer too so I don't really need help and I just want to use the gym in peace. I'm friendly don't get me wrong but, I'm counting and it just throws me off. And staff just tells me that they're sorry that I perceive things a certain way but to do something that I said bothered me. The only time that ever happend to me was a flook therapist session I went to just, I'm experiencing something invasive and I'm not trying to be rude to the members.

I recently joined Anytime Fitness after seeing my fiance be a member for over a year. The gym is very clean, the members are friendly, and having it open 24 hrs is a plus! I started personal training with Amber, and she has been a great coach so far. It is a split level gym with two main workout floors, with the office and showers in the middle. Bummer that there are no lockers, otherwise this place is perfect πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’ͺ🏻
