F45 in general is a pretty awesome system, especially for someone like me, who has has a hard time finding and keeping the motivation to stick with exercise routines. The high intensity framework has been totally gamified here, with large visible countdown timers and optional heart rate leaderboard that makes even heavy exertion for a non-exerciser seem doable if only for 40 second bursts. When I first went in, I hadn't done cardio for about 25 years. In any form. The first class (I later learned) was one of the hardest cardio classes offered at the time, and happened to be a lightly attended one, with just me and one other person (Hi, Sarah!). Lost of attention from the instructor, lots of cardio...It killed me. But...I finished it. That was the key thing for me. If the courses are so hard they can't be finished, I would have been gone. But they are challenging yet completable by really anyone. The various F45 locations can differ significantly from one another, as they are independent franchises. Cameron, who handles the Pasadena and Glendale locations, has done an amazing job creating a supportive community of members and, more importantly, succeeded in instructor retention, which to me is the most important determinant of class based exercise. Having the same instructor for months to years really benefits the workout. The instructors are also heavily focused on form and safety as opposed to exertion and weight (unlike a lot of Crossfit places). I've been told at times to lower weight and focus on form, and they really know their stuff. The classes synergize in sequence, with M/W/F generally being fast paced cardio and T/Th being slower intensity weight-based interval training. Saturday boasts a 60 minute hybrid course. The courses are built such that one can go every day and not overload muscle groups, which creates an amazing feeling of working hard but never getting incapacitated, very important for someone new to exercise. At its best, F45 is nothing short of body transformational. At age 44, going 6 days a week and doing a low carb diet, I went from 170lbs to 144lbs and 24% body fat to 13% body fat, all in 8 weeks. It was pretty astounding actually. There are usually promotions so make sure to ask. Class packages are usually a good way to start, and then if it clicks go to the monthly. If you are someone that has, say, hated exercise your whole life, held an Equinox membership and not really used it, ignored the Peleton sitting in your guest room for months on end, and hates the fact that you get winded on hikes with your family, then F45 might be the perfect combination of brevity, assistance, exertion, and accountability that you need.Highly recommended, obviously.

I looove this gym it’s been my only workout gym for the past year! The branded Workout is challenging but super consistent. I’ve never walked out not sweating a ton! Keeps me going and always help me set or reset the tone of my day/week! Highly recommend anyone who’s looking for consistent training

I’ve been coming to this location for over 2 years. I like the workout, but not their customer service. They charged me and my friend different amount for suspending our membership. On top of that, they also wrongly charged me multiple times, then gave me a rude response when I pointed their mistake out. I don’t feel that my credit card information is safe with F45 Pasadena. It’s sad that I had to cancel my membership due to their unprofessional customer service.

I’m so happy I found F45, I’ve been to many gyms with the HIIT bootcamp style workouts and this one is top notch. I’m literally sore all the time. They have outstanding trainers and customer service. We’re always doing something new, don’t hesitate to try it out. It’s one of the best gyms around, especially the Pasadena location :)

Highly recommend this F45 Training Pasadena Location (10/10). I took my first F45 class on Labor Day with Coach David and Coach Jim, and I was beyond impressed overall. From how clean and sanitized the facility is kept, to how the Coaches and everyone else in the class makes you feel welcomed. This was my first time, and I will definitely be going back to F45 a lot more!

I’ve been going F45 for about 3 weeks now and I have seen a huge transformation in my body in such little time. I went with the intention to have a reason to get up early and start my day strong. The results have been insane. There is a noticeable difference in my endurance as well as my ability to breathe during a workout (which I could never do properly). I have to say this is the first time I have felt so committed and at home in a gym. Thank you to Cameron, the owner for having such a great team as well as Alan, Gabe, and Lauren for always making it a great time <3

I was looking for a gym class to join to get back to regular workouts. From the first visit I knew I wanted to join. Everyday is a new workout, the teachers are very encouraging and your fellow workout partners are also encouraging you as well. Everyone is pushing to get through the workout so it feels good to look to your left and right and to keep pushing through it. I feel amazing and am so grateful to find this gym!

F45 is incredible!! I love all the trainers - they are professional, super fun, energetic, encouraging, and so helpful! They make it so fun and time truly flies when you're working out at F45. I love the fact that you are doing so many exercises in such a short amount of time and at such a high intensity. The trainers are great in letting you know if your form can be improved and give adjustments or alternative moves if you are injured. You also can choose what type of weights you want to use so you have the option to go heavier or lighter in the stations. Everyone is so welcoming and the atmosphere is so fun! This workout is perfect for beginners to advanced! Definitely give it a try if you can :)

The greatest! I've been to almost every popular gym and fitness franchise and F45 has proven my absolute favorite. The workouts are very challenging but manageable and organized, every day is different. Both the members and the staff are incredible, energetic & optimistic at all hours whether it be 530am or pm. The best!

By far the best gym that I have ever been to. I can confidently say that F45 has gotten me into the best shape of my life. Every workout is unique, and utilizes multiple muscle groups so that you can get the most out of your workout in only 45 minutes (or 1 hour on Saturdays). This location also has the best trainers ever. Cameron, Dani, Alex, Gabriel, Jonathan and Christian are extremely knowledgeable, motivational and friendly. They truly care about their clients and are invested in making sure that everyone succeeds and feels comfortable with the workouts regardless of their level of experience or physical shape. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
