I attended Melissa’s Level 2 class, and oh my, it was quite the spectacle! It felt like I stumbled into a lively circus of disorganization, with four chatty participants and even the instructor contributing to the chatter.Pilates moves were sprinkled in between the social gathering, but let’s be real, who needs focused exercises when you can discuss the latest gossip, right?Now, I’m not one to point fingers, but I couldn’t help but notice that I seemed to be the only Asian in the class, and well, it appeared I got the least attention. Hmm, coincidence much?All in all, my Pilates escapade was filled with captivating conversations and acrobatics of distraction. If you’re looking for a unique blend of Pilates and socializing, this class might be just your cup of tea!

This Pilates studio has become my sanctuary. After losing my mom 3 years ago, it has been super difficult for me to find the energy or motivation to get back into a workout routine. I've been coming to gold line Pilates for months now and I seriously can't get enough of this place. It's the one place I can go to and shut off my mind and get in tune with my body. Not only do the classes leave you feeling amazing, they also leave you feeling so calm and relaxed. Not only has Pilates helped me with my posture, I feel so much stronger in my body. I'm lifting again and take 3 Pilates classes a week. I've never felt better in my life. Pilates not only helped me get back in shape, it's also helped my mental health tremendously. I look forward to every single class. All the instructions are incredible. Huge shoutout to Melissa the owner and also one of my favorite instructors. I can't thank you enough for how your studio has changed my life. Not only does she kick your butt but she'll have you laughing the entire time you're working out. This place feels like a community, like a second family. This place is just special. And worth every penny. I will be a forever client.

I’m so grateful for the care and thought Melissa at Gold Line Studios has put into creating a safe sanitized, beautiful outdoor Pilates studio.As of March 14, 2020, my 80 year old mother had been going to Pilates with Melissa at Gold Line Pilates twice a week for at least 6 years when the world stopped. I think she was one of the original clients at Gold Line having followed Melissa from a gym when she first opened the studio. Throughout the quarantine year, Melissa showed great care and concern for my mother who is elderly and vulnerable to the rampaging virus. Melissa helped out by checking in regularly with zoom sessions easing the sense of isolation and despair, and assigning home exercises to keep her body nimble and her mind occupied.One year later with her client’s safety in mind Melissa designed and opened an out door studio. My mom has gone twice now after being fully vaccinated. She was so relieved to get back to her routine. She feels completely safe and virus-cautious and would recommend it even to those not yet vaccinated. Plus, Melissa knows exactly how to slowly and methodically get my mom and other seniors back to last year's levels of strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility. It's the first time my mom has felt truly hopeful in a long time and I'm so incredibly grateful for that.On a side note, I personally have had several sessions with Melissa while visiting Pasadena through the years and she is not just for elderly practitioners! She knows what you need better than you do and she knows how to push you where you need it most!Thank you Melissa and Gold Line 🥰

I am in my mid-60s and have been going to Gold Line Pilates once a week for close to a year and a half, following my instructor Anna from another studio. I am not someone who worked out regularly before, except for some hiking. My goal was to improve strength and balance. I wanted to work with Anna specifically because she is so particular about form that I felt there was no way I was going to be injured, and that has exactly been my experience. She is really good at personalizing and varying the workouts. There is a world of difference between 1 to 1 instruction and group classes. I’ve noticed that in the time I’ve been going to our sessions I have been free of the aches and pains I was becoming used to, though there are definitely other work out related aches, and have completely avoided the minor back problems that were becoming somewhat routine. I love going to the studio. The owner Melissa has created a great space and atmosphere, and the easy parking is definitely a plus.

I recently decided to switch up my routine and give Pilates a try. I have been dedicated to my fitness for the passed 15 years but had not given Pilates an opportunity until I found gold line Pilates. My instructor Jillian offered a consultative and considerate approach given my physical abilities and fitness goals. Needless to say I am very satisfied and have achieved incredible results. I absolutely would refer anyone to Gold Line Pilates. 5 stars!!!

I recently started coming here for private pilates lessons. I took group classes years ago, but I get so much more from one-on-one training! It’s definitely worth it. The workouts are challenging and offer lots of variety so I don’t get bored. They have easy online scheduling which helps keep me accountable. I’ve worked with several instructors and they each have their own style and approach but are all super knowledgeable and fun to work with. I often work out with Anna since I like to work out in the mornings and she’s been great. Highly recommend this studio.

I'm so happy to have found Gold Line Pilates. I had lower back tightness and hip pain that sometimes kept me awake at night. I saw doctors and was told me that I had no injury or diagnosis, it was just "age-related." Discouraged. My physical therapist recommended Pilates so I went to a group class ---not a great experience. I decided to give it another try with Gold Line Pilates. I admit I was at first quite skeptical, but my instructor Anna helped me so much. She was great at explaining each exercise ... I'm feeling muscles that I didn't know I had! I also love going there. The studio is sunny and beautiful and everyone there is positive and supportive. I'm feeling stronger every day! Highly recommend!

I don't live in Pasadena, so I'm not lucky enough to call Gold Line Pilates my home studio. But I come here a few times a week whenever I'm in town to visit my grandchildren.I've been a workout enthusiast my entire life, but only discovered Pilates in the past several years. It has done so much to keep my body healthy and strong, and is a great compliment to my distance running. I used to take group classes, but since starting Private pilates my progress and knowledge of my own body have really accelerated. The individual attention makes a huge difference and you know you're performing each exercise with proper form and precision.I've worked mostly with Anna, and highly recommend her. She's very experience and engaging. Her workouts are challenging and offer a lot of variety, which I love. I've met many of the other staff and they are all friendly and knowledgeable as well. Definitely give this studio a try!

I love this studio! I take private lessons with Robyn and she is a great instructor. The studio is small and clean so there's never too much going on at once and you get really close personal attention from the private instructors. It's also a very relaxed environment, I always feel very comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a more individualized pilates experience!

Great studio! Professional instructors, clean place, and very nice owner, Melissa, who is very attentive to your needs. They have both Pilates and Gyrotonics. Erik, one of the gyrotonics instructors is an amazing, professional and motivating instructor. Just when you think you’ve mastered a move, he helps you improve even more in order to get to the next level.Anna, one of the Pilates instructors is great too. She has an eagle eye as to what your body needs to improve strength and flexibility and balance.I definitely recommend this studio.
