Got a free pass from the website, called before I went in today, was specking to this dude I think his name was Jay, black dude with dreadlocks, working at front desk, he told me on the phone as long as the free pass was from their website, I can try the gym for free. Finally got there, half of the time he can’t hear what I as saying, cause the music is so loud, it’s like a club in there, club lighting, club vibe, loud music blasting! I took a quick peak inside, it’s pretty small, other half of the time he is stating, no free pass! You either join the gym for $19.99 you have 5 days to cancel and get your money back or pay the 20 dollar for the day to work out, no free pass, so why the gym even bother to offered on the website? They should just be upfront instead, make sure you get sucker in first, then if you don’t like it, you can get your money back! I for one won’t return again!

We have been members since opening. The equipment has always been second class. The machines are often broken, bars and plates rusting, the Olympic bars don’t spin because they are busted. But the mood is cool with it’s wanna be nightclub lighting. The clientele have no respect for the equipment and constantly leave things everywhere. To top it off, management are rude, pretend to listen to concerns and fob you off believing you are a gullible nonce. We accepted that because it was cheap. But when we questioned a price increase after we were told we would be grandfathered in, the current manager compared this back yard gym with Equinox. To say they are delusional is polite. The interactions with management has turned the tide and we are done. There are better options out there.Go here if you want to perv on men or women. Otherwise, buy a set of dumbbells, an Olympic bar or a bike and go to the park, it has better lighting and management.

Speakeasy Pasadena has been my first choice gym for 2 years now and it has been the best choice ever made. Every time I step into this location there is always more than enough equipment to complete what I set to complete that day. The gym is divided into three sections and every one is always clean. The staff is noticeable as they clean and sanitize the gym daily. My overall experience has been amazing and it’s only gotten better as time continues.

It’s such a nice gym with a great atmosphere and all the equipment needed. My friends went in and had a free pass from one of the staff who was very nice indeed, so they brought me in to try it out and there wasLizette at the front desk who said i was notAuthorized to try it out even before joining. Also claimed to be the manager’s girlfriend so she could do whatever she pleased. I suggest you get better staff if you want moreCustomers!!!!

Good gym and updated equipment. I’m an early riser and the gym opens at 5am which is great. Shoutout to the front desk employee, Jimmy. He gives 10/10 customer service, he’s always helpful to new and existing clientele, and he’s a huge reason for the continued success of speakeasy. Wouldn’t be the same without him
