Located in the heart of downtown Philadelphia at The Shops at Liberty Place, Orangetheory Fitness offers a comprehensive workout experience focusing on speed, strength, coordination, balance, stretching, and mindfulness. The facility is clean, and its staff and coaches are well-received for their enthusiasm and supportive nature, making it ideal for both locals and visitors.

Despite its premium status, locating the studio and parking can be challenging, especially for non-locals. My home studio. OTF has been a mainstay in my fitness routine since gyms reopened during COVID. I started there wearing masks and working out next to people with plastic barricades - and have stayed ever since. I needed a consistent group workout following Flywheel center city (and the company overall) going bankrupt during COVID. I worked and rode at flywheel as my go to fitness establishment for work, workouts, stress relief, and socialization for 7 years. Without it, I knew I needed an alternative. OTF is it! It’s a great workout. Every class is consistently challenging but doable. As a physical therapist, I like how many different facets of a person’s wellbeing OTF hits. They check every box - speed, strength, coordination, balance, stretching, mindfulness - and they do a great job offering form cues and alternatives like elliptical or bike instead of treadmill, walk instead of run, and different variations of floor exercise. I would never work as hard as I do on my own as I do in class with an instructor and others around me. Thanks for the push!! I recommend OTF to so many patients and friends. I’ve recruited my mom as a member and am working on getting my husband in for at least one class ☺️

I am grateful this Orange Theory location let me workout with them during my trip to Philly. They are in a prime location, downtown Philadelphia. The coach was enthusiastic and encouraging and the staff were truly welcoming, even though it is likely they are going to see me once only.

The woman at the front desk I spoke to earlier this week was very unwelcoming and dismissive. I got the vibe that because of my appearance (I'm a bigger brown woman) I wasn't welcome in the space. Too bad. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Center city orange charged my partner as a no show even though she called to let them know what happened…and asked if she should still come inside and they said no

When it came to this studio, I will say that parking was difficult. — Maybe not for a local, but definitely for someone from out of town. The location requires specific, detailed instructions to find as it’s in a mall and class happens a lot of the time when the mall is not open. It’s considered a premium studio though I cannot figure out why. The equipment is all standard at this point. They could actually could stand to buy more fans and a dehumidifier for the studio. The best thing about OTF is that wherever you go, you know what you’re getting out of the workout. The same can be said for the workout here. Overall, the experience was fine and I would return. Just be prepared if you’re visiting from another city.

You determine what you get out of it and there is a good amount of variety in the workouts so your muscles are constantly being worked. It also helps you figure out where your weaknesses are so you can push yourself to get better. I've been doing OT for over a year now and I'm stronger than ever and in the best shape of my life, at 41 years old.
