Started personal training after recovering from injury at PFP, had the greatest positive experience. The gym is very inclusive of everyone, friendly and welcoming. Staff are joy to work with, always cracking jokes, making people laugh and making the atmosphere friendly and positive. My trainer was Gina, she made me feel very safe about having fitness progress without injuring myself again, especially appreciate the fact that she has background in physical therapy. Just overall a great experience and will recommend this gym to anyone!

The best gym with the best coaches and a great barbell community! Also very queer-friendly and supportive.

Fantastic, welcoming gym! I needed a place to drop in and do my Oly lifting training. Ample platforms, nice equipment and even nicer people! Obviously a great coaching staff here both for Oly lifting and general strength. I loved seeing the diversity of people training while I was here - not a muscle palace but a place where anybody and everybody is welcome to stop by on their strength journey. As a little old lady myself, it was great to see other little even older ladies lifting here.

I started training with Jake at PFP in 2018 and re-started training sessions in Oct 2022 with Andrew after a COVID hiatus. The staff, coaches, and clientele create such a welcoming environment -- I've always felt comfortable, supported, and encouraged during training sessions.I've appreciated Andrew's technical knowledge and expertise since resuming training sessions at PFP. He adeptly applies strength training goals to align with my overall fitness objectives, and I have seen remarkable results thanks to his careful attention to training plans and to monitoring of form during workouts. Most importantly, his positive attitude and humor make the sessions fun!

I can't say enough good things about this gym. Definitely a community feel. A true judgment-free zone. The trainers are so well versed in exercise physiology and technique and they share their knowledge with you, very specific knowledge at that. I feel super encouraged by the trainers. There is a plentitude of options depending on your preferences, goals and budget (classes, 1:1, independent work). Focus is really on health, not necessarily aesthetics, which I very much appreciate. I always feel welcome, and findt membership at PFP to be a superb value.

Although I only recently started at PFP, I feel like I've already found my fitness home. The trainers here are fun, experts in their fields, and compassionate; I have tried a lot of different gyms over the years and haven't found anywhere that fits me quite like PFP.I have training sessions with Andrew two (soon to be three) times a week, and his programs are tailored and thoughtful. Previous injuries and a sedentary schedule have made it difficult for me to move in certain ways, and Andrew is always happy to help me adapt a movement or make sure that I am moving in a way that furthers my strength goals. His guidance and encouragement have been of great help in making my fitness journey fulfilling; his one-step-at-a-time direction is helping me build confidence as well as enjoy my sessions.Highly recommend coming in and trying out PFP; no matter where you are in your fitness journey, you'll find a home here.

Been coming to classes for almost three years! Love the entire team here, and particularly that the group classes are as difficult as you want to make them. There's no pressure, but if you want to increase your abilities, they will help you endlessly! Highly recommend.

I really needed a personal trainer and not just another gum membership. PFP is perfect! It is welcoming and accepting of everyone. I never feel out of place. Everyone is friendly. The new massage therapy space is wonderful! I finally found a "gym" that doesn't make me feel awkward or uncomfortable...and it is very affordable!

I recently started working out at PFP and working with my trianer, Tom three times a week. I was nervous to start working out again, but Tom and the team has made the process easy and fun. I always feel welcome, accepted, and supported by Tom and the PFP community every time I'm in the gym. They provide excellent coaching and training expertise in a supportive and fun community. Even on the days I don't feel like working out, I leave feeling better and proud of myself. Thank you PFP team!

The atmosphere here is one of kindness and friendship. There is a strong sense of community that is very close yet open to new people joining. The coaches are knowledgeable and are able to help people at all skill levels. You never feel belittled or weak. The coaches work with you to become the best you can be. If you want to begin your fitness journey or seek to continue it, definitely come here!
