If you want to start Jiu Jitsu, Genesis Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Center is the best place to go. The Professor is very professional, nice, and supportive. The students are also very nice and supportive. This gym offers more than just Jiu Jitsu, it offers a chance to be a part of a family that’ll take care of you on and off the mat. If you want to start Jiu Jitsu and be apart of a new family, go to Genesis.

Genesis BJJ has been a blessing to my life. I had no idea what I was looking for in a gym, and had little-to-no knowledge of what BJJ encompassed, nor did I have any experience actually doing it.The first night I walked in I was like a fish out of water but Professor, and the students there that night, quickly made me feel like part of the family. I looked no further for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym outside of this one after my free trial. It is truly a family, and one that will challenge you to be better than you were yesterday.Professor pushes you to be your best and helped me quickly start to understand myself, and BJJ, in a way I hadn't previously. You will learn something about yourself at this gym, you will grow at this gym, and you will learn something every night here. You will have to truly earn your stripes/belts here, and you shouldn't want it any other way. You will be part of the family from day 1. Through Professors guidance, I feel I have grown very quickly in my BJJ journey, and I have only just dipped my toe in the ocean that is jiu jitsu.I can't recommend this gym enough to others looking to better themselves in both BJJ, and in life. Use your free trial and I can't wait to have you join this gym with us!

We moved to Port St Lucie about 6 months ago looking for a good BJJ gym for my family. We originally planned to do trials at multiple places before making a final decision. We take this process seriously. Genesis was the first one we went to and after the trial it was clear that we need not look any further. Professor Wendel Gabetta has so much patience and love for the kids and this sport. He pays special attention to teach all the details of traditional BJJ techniques. You will feel this when you meet him and take a class. My son and wife joined Genesis BJJ Center and love it. We highly recommend you join the family soon.

Great school! Super clean. I was visiting from out of town and attended a morning class (very old school traditional) and was welcomed as one of their own.

I was out of town and in the middle of training camp for a Jiu Jitsu competition and professor Wendell was for accommodating in letting me attend his school to continue my training.Upon arrival Professor Wendell was very welcoming. His school is clean and the students that had the opportunity to train along were very friendly. He even loaned me a Gi to train in for while i was there. I will for sure be coming back when i return.

I've been training at Genesis for almost 4 months, and I love every moment of it. Professor Wendell is an encouraging, humble and proficient teacher. Each training session allows me to leave my worries behind and focus on the mental discipline BJJ has to offer. If you're looking for a place to train jiu jitsu, I would recommend Genesis.

Visited family in Florida and this gym was local. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well organized and structured the classes were. Instructor Gabetta goes over techniques and their variation in a manner that helps you grasp the overall concept so that it doesn't feel like you're just learning fancy moves in your uncle's basement. There's also a healthy balance between drilling and live rolls so that you get a chance to test the class lesson as well as anything else you might be working on. While I wish there was a little more emphasis on standing game/takedowns, this is a solid academy to advance your BJJ and self defense skills.
